This is a beautiful place to visit for history, beauty, and sculptures. This place is a must see for anyone in the Myrtle Beach area. It is about 25-35 minutes from Ocean drive but well worth the trip. In my opinion one of the best gardens in the USA. I live about 15 minutes from the gardens and still find new things to discover every time I go.

This is a beautiful place with lots of history and art. There are several limited time only exhibits which by themselves are worth the trip, but just be prepared to do a lot of walking. Bring good shoes comfortable clothing and plenty of water

It could not have been more hot the day we visited, but this place is gorgeous! We enjoyed walking through the gardens and sculptures. The zoo was so much fun, it was so neat to get to walk through the birds exhibit! My husband thought they were fake and could not get over they were real until they starting moving! I got some amazing pictures here! We also took the trekking tour which was great, they say it is very bumpy, which it was but really not too bad. Our guide was very informative, we loved hearing all about the rice plantations and culture. It was a great day!

After purchasing tickets to the evening light show (which is really more ideal for children and touring the zoo, which doesn't offer too much variety from other zoos in any major city), we stayed around and walked various paths and saw some amazing and beautiful gardens, grounds, and sculptures. We have previously visited Huntington Beach State Park, specifically Atalaya Castle we were already familiar with Anna Huntington and Archer Huntington's contributions. Seeing her work and the results of his philanthropy was worth it!

Lots to see and explore. Plan to go over a 2 or 3 day period. Could have more shuttles as we had to wait for quote a bit to get back to the main area. Fabulous gardens and sculpture garden.
