“Do not miss out on this attraction!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 August 2013

The Marshwalk in Murrells Inlet has beautiful relaxing scenery! Walking around the Marshwalk is a treat. Activities range from, renting kayaks, jet skies, banana boat rides, and charter fishing boats. Children will love watching the goats, sand crabs and looking at the barnacles. For adults, the numerous restaurants, music, and the bar hopping possibilities are plentiful. We had the best peel and eat shrimp at Dead Dogs Saloon. Do not forget to take along a cooler for fresh fish, lobster, shrimp, crabs, ect. Choices to shop are Harrelsons, and Seven Seas seafood markets, and remember the seafood you buy was swimming yesterday!

“Beautiful scenery but a bit shorter than expected.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 August 2013

The scenery was beautiful but we were hoping to walk longer than 10 minutes. The restaurants seemed attractive but a bit pricey. We didn't dine here because a lot of the restaurants cater to young adults with alcoholic beverages. Would not recommend to families with young children but it is a beautiful walk with several watersport activities for you to choose from so if that's your thing, then your family will highly enjoy your trip to the marshwalk!

We dine several of the restaurants on the Marshwalk, remember to south on Bus 17 and try the restaurants at the far end.

“Beautiful place to stroll and then eat!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 30 July 2013

We have been vacationing in Myrtle Beach, SC for over 40 years and when we are there, we always take the 10 minute drive south to Murrells Inlet to enjoy the Marshwalk. The seaside landscape coupled with the delicious smell of the restaurants and the outdoor seating keeps us coming back. We try a different restaurant each time, from more formal to casual. You can also charter a fishing boat to take you out to catch your own!

“A Cool Place”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 21 July 2013

This is a really neat place to go and see-whether on a romantic date or as a family outing. It is a beautiful boardwalk type setting along an estuary where you can watch boats, along with peacocks and goats munching grass! There are several restaurants with bars, outside dining, entertainment, etc. There are local vendors selling items like paintings, jewelry, souvenirs, etc. I have two young children and they had fun walking along the boardwalk, stopping to look down into the muddy sand to find sand crabs. Much to our surprise, the night we were there, there happened to be fireworks at 9:00. They were fantastic! Some of the best fireworks we have seen-dare I say better than the ones we saw on the 4th of July. And they were right over the water-beautiful! Everyone applauded and cheered after the finale. We didn't even get to dine in one of the restaurants and we still had a fantastic evening!
