Traveled to Parris Island for a Marine graduation, stopped by Myrtle Beach on the way home for 2 night. Because it was October 25th and pretty cold, decided to stay at Broadway at the beach.
Booked the lakeview room. 5th floor. 2 queen beds, 4 of us staying. Paid about 13.00 more per night for the lakeview, found that we were not really in the room long enough for that to matter. If traveling with small kids that like to see rides and lights i would recommend it. Beds were great, Breafast was wonderful eggs, sausage gravy, one day and eggs with ham and cheese and home fried potatoes plus all the other stuff. very good service and wait staff throughout the hotel. Very clean, Front desk was very helpful with directions, and services. As far as Broadway at the Beach. Very Pricey... everything that was in the coupon books had very selected requirements such as time to use it, or only available on certain days or with a purchase of 100.00 or more.... Enjoyed walking around an feeding the ducks, and fish. enjoyed shopping and all the eatery places. be cautious of the free coupon dealers, they are VERY pushy and annoyoing. they are on every square inch of that place. Saturday night they has a huge event in front of hardrock. Lot's of fun....More
