Homemade breakfast breads and apple butter. Reasonable prices. Creative omelettes and great breakfast specials. Located in Carolina Forest. It’s worth the drive from the beach.

We are locals and have gone here regularly. The food is good, it’s not inexpensive, and—oh my gosh—the service is so incredibly frustrating. On the menu it says something like, “Every server is your server.” It should say “‘Every server is your server’ means you don’t have a server.” The concept isn’t working. And I realized today, it’s never worked!

We were seated in an almost empty restaurant, got our drinks pretty quickly. Then waited. And waited. And waited. And employees are standing around talking. And we’re waiting.

A restaurant can have good food and a nice atmosphere, and poor service will ruin the experience every time! Today was our last visit; there is no excuse.

If you want good food and good service, go to Eggs Up. One server will be your server, and you’ll know his/her name when you’re ready to order. Or need something. Like the check. So you can leave.

My husband and I have been here twice and enjoyed it very much! This morning I tried the freshly squeezed orange juice to drink and lobster panini to eat. The panini was AMAZING!!! I saw it on the "Daily Specials" menu last time but didn't see it today. The manager told me they would gladly make it. My husband had the Lox bagel and cream cheese. It is awesome they serve their menu all day for those that don't like breakfast food. All of the servers help every table. You would think that it would be chaotic but everything ran very smoothly and they were attentive. I did find the orange juice to be expensive ($4.49 for a large) seeing that they aren't refilled and a machine is doing the work. Will definitely be back! Can't wait to have that panini again!

I visited on a weekday and there were only a few tables with customers. I was seated right away, but after waiting 5 minutes I had to catch a server's attention to ask to be waited on. The server explained that all food is fresh and cooked to order and the servers share in customer service. I asked for sugar free syrup for my flapjack. She brought an unlabeled bottle, which, when I asked, was not sugar free. I asked for crisp bacon. It was undercooked, so I asked that it be cooked as ordered. I waited 5 min after my flapjack was served to inquire about the bacon. Only then was it delivered (cooked as ordered this time). No wait staff stopped to see if I wanted more coffee or if my meal emwad satisfactory. While the food was delicious, the service left a bad taste.
