We rented unit #1004 thru Booe Realty.
The unit is exactly as described and portrayed on their web site. With the exception of wireless internet. This unit does NOT have internet and when I asked Booe Realty about this they said each unit has it's own thru the building and I need to talk to the front desk. I talked to Laurie and she said its up to each owner of each unit. Since Booe Realty manages/rents our unit they are responsible for supplying the internet.
Bottom line here is Booe Realty passed the buck on this one. We obtained open wireless internet connection they unit #1104.
We arrived to find NO linens in our unit (we paid for sheets, towels etc to be in our unit upon arrival)
The unit was not clean. The counter tops, stove, dishwasher, handle to the fridge were all dirty. Counters actually were not wiped at all as there were not only crumbs and stuck on food but also the cloths I used to clean with we're brown!
The entire unit was dusty and smelled closed up. Not 'freshly' cleaned at all.
The jet tub jets blew black chunks of mold in to the tub! Yea, yuck!!!!
The shower door also had mold on the bottom.
The ac unit had a very hard time keeping up. It was humid and warm our first few days.
I emailed Booe Realty the evening we arrived and they called me the following morning asking when they could send their cleaning crew.
The 2 women who came were awesome!! They cleaned as the unit should have been cleaned the first time!
The ac unit was never addressed. :(
We were told the unit was just recently vacated after being rented for 2 months... Hmmmmm... That doesn't explain the rust or the stale non clean smell that should hav still lingered upon our 6 pm Saturday arrival.
The condo and it's amenities were wonderful otherwise.
I probably won't stay at South Wind on the Ocean again.... And I highly doubt I will rent thru Booe Realty again.
We loved the indoor pool!
