“An answer to prayer.”

We were needing a room that was close to th ehospital at Myrtle Beach yet affordable. This room answered both of those needs. We had a couple of problems; one night aws a little noisey and the plate on the door for security caused me to mash my finger. Both of these were within levels that we could tolerate. The staff was helpful andpolite.

Elevator smells like p*ss, parking garage is awkward to say the least. Woke up our second day there to hear water running in our room, walked into the kitchenette area and saw the water was coming from the ceiling. Ran down to the front desk and found out the toilet above us overflowed and was running into our room. Great. They moved us to another room which was slightly nicer. If you're more worried about price than anything else, you can probably tolerate this place. If you're bringing kids or want a clean place to stay, look elsewhere.

I don't know what the experiences of these other guests were, but I had a very nice stay here. Check in was efficient and pleasant. Staff was accommodating and knowledgeable. They were friendly.
Room was clean but aged. Some of the light switches didn't light anything up. Some of the lights did not light up. It would be nice to see more outlets in the rooms with everyone carrying chargers. I had an efficiency and the room suited all our needs. We were a part of a group that got three rooms here for the weekend. All three rooms were just what we needed for the occupants traveling. The pool was clean, jaccuzzi was clean. Staff were friendly and very busy. I saw not one of them standing idle. There were gardeners and maintenance men and housekeepers everywhere. I would stay here again.
Also the desk clerk allowed us to park our cars for 6 hours past checkout so we could continue to enjoy the beach as well as the pool long after checking out.

Please listen to these reviews. My kids and I stayed there and all I could think about is I can't wait until morning comes. The pictures are a big lie. Room 218 was the worst it smelled like someone pee on the floor and the owns waited for mold to grow on the floor before they cleaned it. I felt so nasty when I left. Please don't stay at this hotels. They have bed bugs, mattress very uncomfortable, stank and nasty. They need to condemn that place.!!!!

When we checked in and finally got to our room it was disgusting. The room smelt like there were animals living in there. The pics of hotel on there websit look nothing like the rooms. i had to book an other hotel room somewhere else bc that place was horrible. There were also a lot of fights going on outside. THIS PLACE IS TRASH.

Room Tip: pick a different hotel this place is trash. not worth it, you get what you pay for!!!

We checked in and found that our room appeared clean, no bugs or obvious stains (other than empty chip bags in the cupboard). The couple we were staying with ran the water in the bathroom to wash his hands, and the water would not go down the drain. He decided to try to plunge the drain, and chunks of vomit came up from the drain and flooded the sink. Maintenance came with a shop-vac and vaccummed up the chunks, but remains still lined the sink. Nobody came to clean it. The people at the front desk were very understanding and we were refunded. Would not recommend.

My daughter and I stayed there for 3 nights last week to visit nearby college. Booked online, big mistake, went for the price which was actually $10 cheaper for walk-ins, no they didn't offer to reduce our rate to match their prices on the signs. Place was very old and in need of major upgrade/remodeling. Didn't understand the "Golf" part of the name and no one explained it either. $49/night off season, non ocean view, didn't state in ad that it was a view of the side of the parking garage. Two beds [queen size] one in front room and one in back room with bathroom in between. Odd setup, figured it was a one bedroom converted to two beds. Found dirty towels on top of shelf in back bedroom, maid never picked them up [probably because the bed was in the way of the open closet] Late evening, we hear water dripping in our bathroom only to see water coming from the unit above into our bathroom tub. Called front desk, said they would let them know, second day same thing. Bathroom had lay-in ceiling tiles which were soaked and ready to fall from the water it was holding, no one replaced them. Maid came in each day and replaced the towels and made the bed without changing sheets. Never vacuumed or did a poor job if she did, we found food the 1st night near the wall and was still there the day we left. Cruising the Ocean Blvd, it looked as though the off season rate for most hotels was $39 for non ocean view and those hotels looked much newer and updated. I would only stay in this place again if it was the only place left with a vacancy and I didn't want to sleep in my car.

Room Tip: Don't go by the ads online. Pictures are deceiving. Look at the reviews in Tripadvisor, wish we...
