We just returned from a six night stay at wave rider. Originally, i booked room 154 so we would have easy access to the pool. Once we got to the room, there were tools scattered about and the door was standing open. The door surround had been totally ripped out. They scheduled maintenance? They promptly switched us to another room, unfortunately it was on the 2nd floor. It did have newer tv's.
I found the room a bit dated, the comforters are a hideous poo brown and olive green. It's a bit off putting at first right when you walk in the door. The room was clean and it was perfectly adequate. It's not 5 star, but i wasn't expecting that for the price i paid. The staff was always friendly and accommodating. The pools were sparkling. I especially enjoyed the little mushroom fountain kiddie pool. My 2 yr old and i had it to ourselves most of the time. We would stay here again.
