This is a great resort. Although the weather did not permit us to enjoy the numerous outdoor pools that were still open in late November, the Resort has a nice indoor pool, nice work-out room and a full-service spa. The bar and restaurant (we only had breakfast and it was very nice) provided good food and great service.
We actually stopped by the Marriott just for a drink on the second day in Myrtle Beach, and the lobby was so nicely decorated, and the Marriott beds have such a great reputation, my wife and I booked a room on the spot thanks to Brian (Front Desk) and immediately checked out of the dumpy hotel (Compass Cove) we had been in. No regrets. Bed was great, turn-down service was consistent, ... Nothing to complain about. Having been at the Hilton and Embassy Suites in Myrtle Beach in prior years, this is probably the nicest hotel on the Grand Strand.
Thanks for coming to the rescue and saving our vacation.
