We wanted a New Year's weekend nearby. This place and its personnel were on their best game, even for a slow weekend. Nobody let down on service. We felt well-taken care of by every staff member.
We have now deposited to return this summer.

Wow....that just about sums it up for this place. Off season rates made this place a steal. Just happened upon this place looking for a Marriott in Myrtle Beach. We had a senior discount and I am a Marriott Rewards member but the suite was $129/night. We had 2 bedrooms, 1 King and 2 Queens and a living, kitchen and 2 baths and a direct ocean view. Stunning. Very Clean and quiet. If you have a chance to snatch a weekend in MB off-season try this place for sure. All booked up for the summer already! I can see why!

From the check-in experience to the grounds to the rooms, everything is first class. I arrived at 1P for a 4P check-in and after being told that my room wasn't ready, Jessica placed a call and passed an offer to me of the TOP floor, corner unit, in the building I was going to be in anyway. They have oceanview, oceanside and oceanfront buildings depending on your points or exchange. The oceanview are in the back but are much taller. The oceanside are the north or south facing sides of the oceanfront buildings. The weather was a little chilly but since I had no roof over my balcony I got all the sun whenever it was out. The master bedroom has 2 queen-size beds and the guest has 1 king, all with the fantastic Marriott bedding. The view over the whole property was fantastic. The kids play area, two pools, well maintained landscape were all excellent.

Just returned. Absolutely loved the Oceanwatch Villas. The grounds are beautiful. We enjoyed outdoor and indoor pool and hot tubs. Weather varied last week Jan 19-27 from 30's to 60's. Beach is nice. Would return again. Better time would probably be in March/April or Sept/Oct. I can see that MB could be hard to travel in in busy summer. We had a "bonus" interval week to use by Feb 1 though so went for it. We own in Hawaii unfortunately. Wish we could trade for somewhere easier to travel to. Have stayed in Florida, Branson but staying here was the best experience. Would have loved to take our kids when they were younger. Great place for families. No shows in MB while we were there:( and many places closed for winter, but we found plenty to do and restaurants to try.

Stayed there twice in the two bdrm unit. Love it. Everything was great! The last time I stayed I have a great view of the pool. It was a bit chilly so didn't really get in the ocean. Nice just to walk around.

This is a great place, especially for families. The Villas are spacious and have two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Nice kitchen and a dining room. The villas are next to the Marriott grand dunes hotel and you can use all the facilities of the hotel if you do not want to cook your own food. The villas are located at the beach and local attraction and restaurant are just a few minutes away by car.

My wife and I visited in late October. It was still warm enough to sit by the pool in bathing suit, yet brisk on the beach. Crowds were light yet the restaurants were comfortably full. The site has excellent views of the ocean from nearly everywhere except lowest 3 floors. The rooms were spacious and quiet. We entertained 2 couples, the weather changed but we were able to use the indoor pool and spa which is larger than most. An excellent trip.

Room Tip: Best view is floor 5 and higher.
