“A fried food feast”
Reviewed 19 August 2014 via mobile

Fried food for as far as the eye can see! "Calabash" style done average. It wasn't bad but not really that good either. Service was good and the crab legs were great but everything else was just ok... Except the desert bar section and it was poor. Dried out squares of random premade cakes with different stuff squirted on top. $32 a pop for adults, $13 for our 6 year old and only $3 for our 2 year old.

“Not that impressive”
Reviewed 19 August 2014 via mobile

After going to captain George's for years, we decided to try something different. The crab legs were small, not cooked properly and cold out of the serving tray. The muscles were dry and overcooked. Hush puppies were not as impressive as the reviews indicated. Decent variety but everything tended to be overcooked. Quality was better elsewhere.

“Good Entertainment while you wait”
Reviewed 19 August 2014

They sure know how to keep you entertained while you wait. The porch out back on the water with rocking chairs, cornhole and then a kids area downstairs...it makes the wait seem not so long. The food is pretty good, crab legs are always great!! The layout not so great though......hard to navigate through the lines and very crowded. They really should make a better flow for all those people! The choices are endless, plenty of other things too, not just seafood. I would return......

“Great food great value.”
Reviewed 19 August 2014

The whole experience was great. This is a first class operation. The food was great, and so was the service. The building is huge and the food selection is almost overwhelming. We had to wait about 45 mins,to get a table but it was well worth it. And you can tell because the parking lot stays packed. This is the king of seafood buffets. No msg and the food quality was as good as the quantity.

“Awesome food!”
Reviewed 18 August 2014

There was SO much food- something for everyone. The best "All you can eat" restaurant I've been to. My favorite were the crab legs & fried oysters. There was also a wonderful salad bar & amazing dessert bar that you need to save a little room for. It was clean with a festive, fun atmosphere. We will definitely be back!
