This show is held at the Palace Theater and it is awesome! Me and my date had a great time and could not believe the talent they had at this venue. Would definitely recommend to anyone. It would be very family friendly.

Fun for kids. Although this is far from a cirque du soleil performance it was entertaining for our disabled son and our young daughter.
the main guy (Emcee mime) who entertains you in between performances was so funny. We really enjoyed him the most.

I found the young performers who just sorta sat around on stage etc annoying and really didn't need to be there! they showed no skills except i did giggle at the very skinny misfit looking guy with the "where's Waldo" hat on he couldn't dance to save his life and that was pretty funny.

a few errors were made but overall the agility of the performers is more than I could do. The hula hoop girl was talented but went on way to long. The trapeze chick with the safety rope attached was un impressive.

the dogs were cute but wish they did more. Haven't we all seen some impressive dog stunts on late night tv?

The 2 nicely built guys doing balancing stuff were nice eye candy. and I was impressed at the strength.

the performances with the flowing curtains was elegant.
the performances at the beginning with the 2 girls on the bungee type rope things in the audience were not in sync

Although we loved the host antics, i began to suspect some were set ups. the last audience guy had his shirt ripped off but we never again saw this person return to their seat or anyone go to pick up the drink and popcorn that the mime took from him in order to go on stage.

This is very entertaining and reasonably priced for a myrtle beach show that will keep your elementary school child engaged.

CONS: $20 for 1 picture holding some of the dogs??! REALLY
Pros: great for very young children

Le Grand Cirque | Adrenaline | Palace Theatre Myrtle Beach

My husband purchased tickets to see the show for our anniversary since we would be vacationing in Myrtle Beach. He assumed it was a Cirque du Soleil show (which it is not), but please do not let that stop you from seeing this show. The show is very entertaining and the quality of the show is very good. The mime is the best, hands down (you will see him through out the show), his performance is excellent. Had front row seats but I have to admit it was a bit too close, The hula hoop performer is awesome and very talented. The dog show is the very same one that performed on Americas got Talent and and dog performance is very entertaining. An intermission is included and during that you are allowed to come up and have your picture taken with some of the dogs from the dog performance ($20 cash). If the show is still there next year we will go back and see it again.

We went at the start of the season, and it was great! The show has changed since the last time I saw it over 3 years ago. A high school performed before the show and they did great, the skill of the acrobats was amazing! Will go again

My wife and I took our three grandsons (11, 8, 6) to Adrenaline during a recent vacation to Myrtle Beach. We spent about $130 for five seats four to five rows from front and right in the center. About as good as you'll get for a show with a day's advance purchase. This is not Cirque Du Soleil, but it's really good for what it is. Many of the performers do multiple tasks and become pretty recognizable quickly. There are a few noticeable safety cables that I have not seen at Cirque, but that did not detract form the show at all.

One of the grandsons had expressed a total lack of interest in going - of course, he went. He and his brother and stepbrother sat with their mouths agape for the duration. They all clearly enjoyed it. All the acts were good, a couple were excellent and the show overall was very entertaining. It was not real long, but the timing was good for families, especially those with smaller children.

It's a bit expensive (but certainly a bargain compared to several of the alternatives), but I think it is money and time well spent ... both of which are important when you're vacation. The troupe works hard to provide a thrilling and interesting show (that includes the dogs who nearly steal the show from the humans). If you're thinking of a show while in Myrtle, give this one a shot.
