Our room was beautiful--it looked brand new! We went for a girls getaway--we did not need to rent a car. Everything was within walking distance! There were so many good restaurants, bars, and shops just a few blocks from our room. We loved the lazy river, work out room, and the long walks on the beach. The brand new boardwalk was awesome!

We stayed in the 2 BR Suite. We enjoyed the full balcony from the living area and bedroom suite. We did not use the kitchen to cook, but it was very nice with everything you might need if staying a week. It was clean. We really loved the room. My granddaughter loved the flat screen TV"s in every room. I would definitely stay at the Breakers again.

We had one bad experience, but it had nothing to do with The Breakers. On Saturday night, my daughter and granddaughter were at the pool and their bag was stolen. I am 52 years old and this is the first time we have every had anything stolen. So just be careful wherever you are. It could have happened anywhere.

This was a quick, 2-nite vacation for a little R&R. I wish we had booked an extra nite-this was a little too short-but we got what we came for-Rest and Relaxation. We really like the fact that the North Tower is removed from the main Myrtle Beach area. Being 40-something, we seek quieter forms of entertainment. We stayed in a queen efficiency which had 2 queen beds in the bedroom and a full kitchen. I feel we got a good value for the money. There was just enough room and a nice-size balcony.
If you are looking for R&R, I would definitely recommend this place.

We recently stayed at the Breakers North Tower for Spring Break. We have four children ages 13, 9, 7 and 5 and we had a blast!! We had an oceanfront 1 bedroom suite that was equipped with a full kitchen, washer and dryer and an amazing view! I was VERY worried about staying there after reading some other reviews but was pleasantly surprised. Upon arriving the staff was friendly and the room was fine. Nothing fancy but not bad either. My only issue was with the pull out sofa. That is where my husband and I slept and it was TERRIBLE! Springs popping into your back all night! Everything else was perfect! The maid staff was very nice and asked everyday if we wanted service- she even washed a pan we had soaking in the sink for us! What a surprise! The pool at the North Tower was nice and clean and there was a great pool bar/cafe so we could get snacks! The kids also loved the pirate ship pool at the 21st street Breakers- which is only a 10 minute walk down the beach! There is a ton of stuff to do in Myrtle Beach so you will never get bored! The beach is beautiful! We only had a minor issue one night with a party upstairs, but I called the front desk (it was 3am!) and within 5 minutes it was quiet. Overall we were very pleased and would return to Breakers! We had a great time!!
