Had a wonderful stay at ocean dunes tower II. The unit we stated in was beautiful. You could tell and smell the newness of the unit. Had a full kitchen with stove and apartment size frig that held all that you need. Dont get freezer goods to small for anything big. You get free admission to a water park that would cost you 20.00 a head to get in. The beach you can walk to. Pool on site. So if your looking for a home away from home stay ask for unit 6062 in tower II and you will not be disappointed.

We stayed here July 25 to July 29th for a softball tournament. The tournament promotoer had a package deal with the dunes. The rooms are horrible, dirty and plain nasty. The surprises started when we were asked to pay the hotel bill in full before we got a key. I know why now. The room was nasty looking. Black spots on the floor. Building was said to be smoke free. The room smelled like someone had been smoking cheap cigars in it for the pass month. Front desk gave us another room. This one was not much better did have newer carpet. One of the two elevators was continually sticking and not going to the correct floors. People being stranded on them. The light poles at the swimming pooled shocked several of the girls and some parents. The Fire deaprtment came over and barricaded around them to prevent shocks. Large screen tv on wall not working wanted to bring a portable tv in. Small refrigerators in the room. No decent chairs to sit on. The table was so small two people could not eat off of it. My 11 year old daughter wanted to leave, but when asked at front desk for a refund they refused and told us we could have another room. Please spread the word to your friends and family. If you go there you will regret it as the 12 families on our ball team did.

Room Tip: Go some where else

I was SOOOOOO disappointed in my stay here at Oceans Dunes, for the amt of money we paid to stay 4 nights was way overpriced, and that would of been ok if we didn't experience so many proplems ex: fridge breaking, lights out and a nasty smokey stentch in the room. Wont stay there again. Staff also rude as i expressed my concerns to a Sandra and she neglected to care about it.

We stayed in Tower 1. Very Conveinent Parking, The Bellman came over and assisted us with our bags without delay. Our room was cleaned by Ms. Hope and was spotless. We did need a few towels the first day but we got them after a call to housekeeping in minutes and also a follow up call from the front desk assuring we were taken care of. The Brass Anchor Breakfast Buffet was great. All you needed to start your day plus made to order eggs. For each Adult, two kids eat free!
Very friendly staff. I understand each Condo is privately owned, but we couldn't find anything wrong with our stay. The free stuff you get is great! We have been coming down for about 5 years now with the kids and this is the most that we did as a family this trip. From the Adventure Camp, to the Adventure Cruise, to Water and Wheels park and the Water Park on the property, there is plenty for your money! The pools were clean and i never saw any trash lying around anywhere. We will definitely come back and will recommend this place to everyone!

Room Tip: Try to Request Tower 1, Seems a little newer and is closer walking distance to the Beach Access. Alt...

Don't stay here, it's so bad. My husband and I were so upset with them, my 5yr and 10yrs were so upset with them. Room was dirty and smells bad. The place has water park at sands dunes pools, the water park was good. We went to go to see the dolphin at my last day at 8:00 am we got there at 7:45 am and they didn't have us register for this, and told us to come back at 2:15 pm, we were back at 1:45 pm and we were told the adventure has been cancelled, but no one have call me to let me know, it takes 30 min for one way from the hotel, we drove 2 hours for nothing and the kids we so sad, but the hotel didn't want to do anything about this.

I attended a business worskhop that had been booked by someone who had never been here nor had seen any reviews. The lobby was dirty upon arrival and things never got any better. The room had a flat screen TV on the wall with a portable in front of it. I dared not walk on the carpet barefooted for fear of some type of contamination. The other members of my group shared similiar experiences.
This facility is old and in need of much repair all over. The best thing that can be said about Ocean Dunes is that it is on the beach.

they need to focus more on cleanliness, not because is an old hotel doesn't mean it can be clean. the staff need to better train on costumer service, they do the job but they don't go out of they way to make your stay the best. Also on the day of check out somebody from reception open the door room and ask us what time we're leaving and that was at 8:30 am. kind of rude.
