A beautiful place to go for a walk or have a picnic. It's a great place to see wildlife and is so convenient to downtown. A good place for all ages....

Brick Pond Park is a an excellent place for a solo stroll, a fun educational outing with the kids, a couple stroll and a great place for taking pictures. Beautiful natural landscape with abundant wildlife. The walking paths and sidewalks are accessible and very nicely done. Great for bicycles and strollers. Lovely covered bridge over one of the ponds that is excellent for viewing the wildlife and making pictures.

This park is beautiful. There were tons of turtles one summer, and then 2013 summer-the water level was high due to lots of rain. Try to spot the crocs...and even try spot deer! Great place to take kids, family. Great bike paths that border the park.

My husband and I visited early on a Saturday morning,,,,,great walking trails,,,beautiful ponds and park property,,,,didn't see any alligators, but saw plenty of ducks, some birds, lots of beautiful dragonflies and some pretty cool spiders and their webs.....I love photography, so was able to have some fun with my camera.....Don't know if I would feel real comfortable on some of the trails by myself,,,,,,also we had an issue with a dog owner who would not keep her dog on the leash,,,I have a probably unhealthy fear of dogs, and was a little not happy about that....would love to visit again when in the area......

Brick Pond Park in North Augusta, S.C. is a beautiful garden of eden! I highly recommend it to tourists who like to walk. The landscaping is gorgeous. If you go to BPP at the right time of year and are luckly, you will see an alligator in it's natural enviroment (much better than seeing alligators penned up in a zoo). Also, while at BPP, visit the lobby of the new Municipal building and enjoy viewing the local artwork.
