We had an excellent dinner at this restaurant. It was not too pricey, the food was excellent, and the service was tremendous. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone in North Myrtle Beach.
We went to Villa Tuscanna on the first night of our vacation. When we pulled up, we noticed that several of the license plates in front of the restaurant were local South Carolina plates and just made an assumption that it was frequented by locals, so it must be good.
When we walked in, the owner of the place was standing at the entrance. Next to him was a man playing a piano. The piano music was piped throughout the restaurant and added nice ambiance.
Before our appetizers were brought out, our waiter, Giorgio, brought out some fresh, wonderful bread. Rather than the normal extra virgin olive oil and cracked black pepper, they had a special home made dipping sauce for the bread that was out-of-this world!
For appetizers, we had escargot which were served not with the standard garlic butter and herbs, but a melted Gorgonzola cheese. Our entrees were served with salads. All very nice.
For our entrees, my wife ordered the special - tender veal topped with prosciutto and fresh mozzarella and sauteed in a mushroom Marsala over spinach served with a side of pasta marinara.
I ordered the veal parmigiana. One of my daughters ordered the fried calamari, the other daughter ordered pizza. My son ordered spaghetti and meatballs.
All of our meals were outstanding. The service was tremendous.
We highly recommend this restaurant to couples, families, and anyone else in North Myrtle Beach. It is easy to see why locals frequent this restaurant.
