“Good food and good service!”
Reviewed 29 January 2014

We were on vacation in North Myrtle Beach and Ryan's was right around the corner from where we were staying. We ate there several times and loved the convince of the location! The food was tasty and they have a good salad bar. We had great service every time we went. Wish we would have had time to try out the week end breakfast buffet.

“Seminar Meeting w/Dinner”
Reviewed 27 October 2013

I attended a seminar meeting and then we had dinner. We had never eaten there prior but passed it many times. It was very organized and we thoroughly enjoyed the many choices. The staff was very polite and efficient. The food was okay and the deserts were not soo good.

“Good value, lots of choices.”

Ryan's Grill Buffet & Bakery
3607 Highway 17 South
North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582

Stopped in for lunch today (10/23/13) to try their buffet. Since there were a goodly number of vehicles in the parking lot we took it as a good sign. Lunches were $6.99 or $6.49 for seniors. And if you show up after 1:00 p.m. (which we did) seniors get your drink included (a saving of $2.00 each). I tried the barbeque pork which was delicious. That and some mashed potatoes and I only went back three times. To be honest, the cut served does have a lot of fat but it’s not too much effort to find the chunks of lean meat. I did have some green beans that were too soggy and not at all warm. The mac & cheese was good and the pecan pie was very good. Wife had mostly ‘healthy offerings’ (broccoli, cauliflower) and a little roasted chicken which she said was all very good. They are promoting pumpkin pie which (since she likes pumpkin) she had to try. She only ate a bite or two as she said it lacked flavor. She switched to the cookies & cream which was good. For all they offer, this is a very good value. I believe the dinner is $9.99 but am not 100% sure.

By the way, our server (Mike) was very good. Kept the tea glass filled and the plates cleared.

“Average buffet with decent prices.”
Reviewed 4 September 2013

I dine with two toddlers, 2 & 4, so buffets are casual, quick and usually ensures everyone leaves feeling full.

We tried out Ryan's because I wasn't in the mood for seafood buffet ($25+).

Overall an average place.

Decent price for all you can eat buffet.
Regular dinner buffet is $10.99
4 to10 year olds (I think) $3.99
2-3 year olds are $1.99 - Usually 3 and under are free but this is a fair price.
$1.99 for drinks.

Similar to Golden Corral. Less selection but fresher items.
Average food to expect from a buffet with nothing extraordinary.

Staff was friendly but don't expect quick service or drinks filled often.
