Our second time in North Myrtle Beach and at the North Beach Plantation. We stay in the either of the two towers, in a two bedroom, two bath condo. Clean rooms. Stocked kitchen if you want to eat in. 11 am check out, 4 pm check in. All rooms overlook the ocean and great beach views. You will want a rental car, most places aren't within walking distance. Hotel has many pools, adult only pool, smaller splashing pools for little ones. Lots of chairs and tables in shade to have lunch. You can bring your own food but not liquor. A short walk across bridge directly connected to pool is the beach. So much fun. Within steps you can rent chairs with umbrellas, or buy at the nearby WalMart and bring along with towels as the pool towels are not allowed on the beach. Also very close are banana boat and wave runners. Great beach for walks or long runs. Across the highway is Barefoot Landing which has restaurants, shops, ice cream, candy stores and a small amusement park, alligator attraction and tiger sanctuary. Lots to do and spend your money on. Lines can be long to get seated, plan on waiting a bit. Lots of mini golf places too.Great family vacation!

Room Tip: They won't really let you choose your room. I'd suggest a higher floor due to pool noise early. All rooms have a good view.

This is the second year in a row we stayed here in a two bedroom condo on the tenth floor of indigo tower. The condo was luxurious and beautiful with all the amenities. The staff is friendly. The pools are gorgeous and very clean. The staff is good about not allowing guests to come in pool before opening and reserve chairs. The only thing that needs improvement is the pool is always out of towels by 6/7 in the evening. That's the only thing I would change. Honestly though, that's the only thing I can say, which is pretty impressive. Best property in myrtle beach.

First let me vent a minute. I drove 680 miles from Cleveland Ohio with 2 small children in the back seat ( 1yo and 3 yo) and arrived perfectly at 3:50 PM for a late in my opinion 4 PM check in time. after waiting in a long line for check in at the lobby we had our paperwork filed out by 4 PM on the dot, BUT OUR ROOM WASN'T READY. I was given a map and sent to the pool to wait for a phone call that the room was ready. Phone call came at 4:20, drove back to the lobby to fight an even larger mass of people in the lobby to get my key. I was initially told at the first attempted check in that if my room wasnt ready on time they would "Do something for me" North Beach Plantation didn't do anything for me. No round of drinks, no late checkout, no room upgrade that was ready, NOTHING. Very poor service in my opinion.

Now the good part that saved the week for us. This place is drop dead gorgeous. It looks as good in person as it does in the pictures. We ended up in room 410 (Indigo Tower), Southport one bedroom with pullout couch that sleeps 4. Dont believe the hype you need Jasmine tower, the view of the horizion was 80% ocean and 20% down the coast to the ferris wheel and beach for us.

Just to review this is a timeshare so you dont get daily housekeeping just towels and garbage taken out.

The location and beach is great, we reccomend eating at Flying Fish across the street at Barefoot Landing. Happy hour there is 4-7 and if you sit in the bar area they have $4 Margaritas, $2.50 craft beers, $5 sushi rolls and appetizers.

My top tips.
1) Dont arrive on a Saturday. NBP will let you arrive whatever day you want. This will help with check in and lessen the traffic for you into Myrtle Beach.
2)Don't pay full price. They have 20% off sales all the time. One woman at the pool told me they had 30% off on black friday this past year.
3)Look into the 1st or 2nd week of June. Kids in SC are still in school so we paid $500 less the week of June 8th.

pics to come.

This was our second year at NBP. We love it. Although there wasn't much hot water- maybe because we were on the 18th floor. Elevators need to be air conditioned! They are SO hot. Hallways do have AC. We love it here. Nowhere else compares.

We stayed at NBP June 3 - June 8 and had an amazing time. We stayed in the Jasmine Tower and the unit was a 2BR 2B oceanfront unit. The balcony was large, and the unit was clean. The pools are beautiful. Staff is friendly and helpful. The beachfront area is gorgeous. We had a great time, despite the snafu with weather (Tropical Storm Andrea). Parking was never an issue. The area of the NMB is gorgeous.
