“Don't waist your money!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 June 2014

For the Love of God, don't waist your moony on a over expensive hotel full of crowded pools that look good on Internet pictures. 2 bdrm 2 bth with 800.00 in taxes almost was 4000.00. Seriously, I was expecting more. You had also better wear your pool bracelet because deputy dog (security) comes by once an hour and asked my wife and I for them. He even asked each pool and jacuzzi to raise their hands to display them! Do NOT attempt to bring a cooler to the pool deck if you are thinking of going to the beach in an hour. They will confiscate them. Some kind of ordinance prevents this. You MUST swim up to their bar to buy their drinks if you want to have a good time at the pool. Expect 5.00 beer with tip or 11.00 for fruity drink. What a waist! If you want a cabana for the day by the pool, expect to pay 150.00 per day. Again, a waist, but at least you get bar service when you spend the money for renting one of these. If you are just lounging by the pool, there is no snack bar or bar service. They also lock the beach access gates to get to the water after 11:00. We have to get creative after night time beach combing just to get back to our room! Overall, the room was ok, but if you want to spend 4000.00 in a police state by all means do so. We will never come back. There are way too many regulations to relax for the overpriced experience. What a sad waist of our money. ....and sorry to say, we have 3 more days left.

Room Tip: Don't waist your money.

Best in all of North Myrtle. My eight year old loved it as we did too. In the heart of everything but the resort has a feel of being far away. Great Staff. Beach and pool are top notch. We have traveled all over the Caribean and not found as good of an overall package.

Room Tip: We stayed on Pentlhouse level and the views were stellar!

Wonderful family friendly hotel. Great location on a beautiful beach and close to restaurants and entertainment, very clean, comfortable beds, great pools, several hot tubs, covered lazy river and warm pool for rainy days. I will definitely come back.

We reserved a single bedroom and when we got there, was upgraded to a two bedroom suite... no extra charge. The views were amazing. Right on the beach. There were so many pools.. lost count. There was a pool with bar that you could order food and drinks.. and sit in the water, while you ate and drank. The rooms had some minor maintenance issues, which is the only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. The maintenance issues were some dirty carpets, a busted light in the bathroom, and broken shelves in the freezer.. To me, these are minor, compared with all the pluses. Big living room, nice dining area, well equipped kitchen (fridge, sink, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker).. We had a balcony to go out onto for evening relaxation.. We enjoyed eating breakfast out there. The money you save on not eating out, easily pays for the little extra you pay for the room... so well worth it.
I vacationed there with my family.. (wife and 2 kids). The kids had their own room, and the wife and I had our own room, with a view of the ocean when we woke up.
Would I go back, absolutely. Can they improve? Yes. Again, the "minor" issues were maintenance related, that I believe a good housekeeping staff should have "easily" caught. I mentioned these issues when we checked out, and not when i checked in.. I strongly believe that they would have taken care of the issues if I mentioned them, when we checked in.. but, I chose not too, cause I did not think they were big deals.
My only suggestion to the hotel.. "Get the housekeeping crew to be more vigilant on problems and report them so they can be fixed." Also, do a carpet shampooing/deep cleaning, every few weeks..
If you are looking for shopping.. you have Barefoot Landing across the street.. All the fun of Myrtle Beach only 10 minute ride south (Broadway at the Beach, Boardwalk, Ferris Wheel, etc). Plenty of restaurants in the area.. Walmart and B-LO (grocery store), very quick ride away. Awesome place to stay, and I hope to be back.. ASAP.

Room Tip: As with any hotel.. I feel the further up you go, the better. We stayed in the Indigo Tower, which...

Upon entering we discovered the unit has not been cleaned. We called management and a cleaning crew and manager were dispatched to the room. We remained in the hall outside the unit for 1 1/2 hours while the unit was cleaned. The cleaning crew supervisor noted the stains on the carpet and stated the carpet should have been cleaned prior to our arrival. However, since no other units were available we were forced to accept this unit.
Also, during our stay the unit was sprayed for bugs. The baseboards were dripping wet after the spraying. Since toddlers were part of our party we expressed our concern to management regarding their exposure to the pesticides. We were assured the product was safe. We requested the name of products used and upon researching found that small children and pets should not be exposed to the product until it is dried. We requested management to wipe the product from the baseboards and they refused stating they were doing "what they were told.

Room Tip: Stay away from room 2006. Our party consisted of 3 separate condos and ours was the exception. The...

We booked this resort for our family vacation and loved it. The resort itself is very nice, spacious suites with beautiful views of the ocean and pools. Pools were never over crowded and access to pool towels was very easy and always plentiful. Location is near shopping and several restaurants. The adult pool/swim up bar was a nice feature. My kids loved the lazy river, which at times was crowded with teens and could have used more staff supervision but this was a minor issue. I would recommend the towers for anyone visiting the area!

Cons - Check in process was a bit confusing and all amenities could have been explained better.
Beds were very hard.

This was my second stay here and won't be my last. I will always stay here when visiting Myrtle Beach!! YES! It's that Amazing! I've stayed in a two bedroom condo both times and once in Indigo and this time in Jasmine tower. You can't go wrong with either one. What are you waiting for? Book it NOW!!! It's worth it!
