The unit is on the 3rd floor of a walkup, which should be noted for those bringing small children or who need to carry a lot up the stairs. There is no wifi which is a serious problem if you have an extended stay or are on a working vacation. Neighboring units do have wifi but are managed through other companies. The fixtures were not secure in the bathrooms and the showers and toilets could use updating. The refrigerator had a shelf support that kept falling off, hitting little toes a few times. It should be looked at and secured.
The kitchen is truly fully stocked with whatever you might need to cook or bake - knives, bowls, blender, mixers, wine glasses, bakeware - they've got it all, so in that aspect it felt like a real home. The living and sleeping areas were very nice, the view was great. But the bathrooms do need updating as previously said (the sliding doors for the shower were heavy and out of alignment).
Some things that should have been disclosed in the advertisement for the property would be that no swimming or wading is allowed in the inlet area, which I did not know until I got there, very disappointing. That there is no wifi or internet, which led to costly data charges to conduct a small amount of business. This should have been explicitly stated especially these days when wifi is expected and all neighboring units had it (password protected of course). The ad says it's not handicap accessible but it should really say that it is up 3 flights of stairs. There is a difference for elderly, pregnant women, and multiple small children.
Also, there were knives everywhere, in all of the low drawers, so investigate thoroughly if you're bringing a child.
