We have been staying at this property for 10 years with our family and friends every summer. We love the location. It's away from the busyness of downtown Myrtle Beach. I also like that it isn't a high rise and the pools are on beach level. The rooms are in much need of an update. New paint, new furniture (including mattresses), updating the bathrooms and appliances are very much needed. The carpets should be removed completely. It's a beach property and should have tile throughout, including the bedrooms. The staff needs to do a better job cleaning the rooms. The bathrooms were covered in mold. The staff is quick to take care of items that aren't working or replace things that are missing from the condo upon checking in.

Room Tip: Bring your own cleaning supplies to clean the room before you settle in.

I stayed during a very busy vacation week in a 6 person suite. The room was very nice, updated appliances and electronics. The front desk was very friendly and quick to help. Pool was nice, friendly staff, room had silverware and dishes. Great stay!

In Aug 2012 we stumbled across Peppertree Ocean Club simply to use the public phone after having a bad experience at another resort. We travelled to Myrtle Beach from Toronto Ontario to see a band at the HOB. After the staff had learnt of our drama at the other resort they offered us a two bedroom ocean view suite at a very desirable rate. It was very clean, comfortable beds, friendly staff, friendly guests. We soon found out it was a time share. Hence the cleanliness. Did not see a single creepy crawly. We loved this place so much and the price is affordable for what you get that we returned in Aug 2013 for two weeks. My boys 12 and 17 made friends in 2012 and connected with them in 2013 as it's a family place and people tend to book their vacations during the same time every year. There is two very well maintained outdoor pools and one indoors. The ocean is litteraly 60 steps away. This year sadly we may not return as the kids are now bored of Myrtle Beach therefore we are going to travel to the mid-southwest. I highly recommend this place.

We love the location of Peppertree Ocean Club in North Myrtle Beach. Because it is not a huge high-rise, the beach area in front of the resort was never crowded. There were always plenty of loungers around the beautiful pool area (there are two large outdoor pools). The activities personnel always seemed to be cheery and ready with lots of activities, though we didn't participate in any. We stayed in one of the 3-bedroom penthouse units on the 7th floor. The view was lovely with a huge balcony. The beds were very comfortable, and the unit seemed clean for the most part. The kitchen could use some updating: the dishwasher was not working, the cabinets were very sticky, probably from the humidity on the paint, but the stove was nice and seemed new. An oddity about the 3-bedroom unit was that the "master" had no bathroom off of it, but had beautiful scenic windows on two of its walls facing the beach. The master had a king-size bed, another room had two twins, and the 3rd bedroom had a double bed with a large bathroom but not much of a view from the window. I am not the best driver, admittedly, and I found the parking lot to be a little stressful. The spaces are quite tight, and if a large vehicle parked at the end of a row, it could be tough to get around. The housekeeping/maintenance staff was always very pleasant and friendly, but some of the front desk staff could use a little cheering up.

Room Tip: Rooms on the 7th floor were very quiet with a huge balcony and great view.
