From the outside you would never guess how nice Midtown Bistro is. Very nice, more upscale atmosphere with very reasonable prices. You will feel under dressed in beach attire. Golf attire is good. We ate lunch and we were very pleased. The salads were huge and fresh. The caprese salad was great. The sandwiches were wonderful, especially the French dip. The veal cutlet sandwich was the only low point. It was tough and a little dry. Overall, a wonderful choice for lunch or dinner.

Fantastic really fresh seafood for the parents, a burger for the teenage son, pizza for the teenage daughter. Midtown doesn't just satisfy everybody it delights every palate and impresses the whole family.

Our last night in Myrtle Beach we ate at Midtown Bistro upon a recommendation from Gray, our server at Joe's. It was everything Gary made it out to be!! Best meal we had while in Myrtle Beach!! Dean was our server & did an excellent job of taking care of us and making us feel like family. We will definitely return to Midtown Bistro next time we are in the area, and until then, we'll just have to dream about the wonderful meal & yummy cheesecake dessert.

We had a reservation, and we were seated immediately. The waiter was friendly and very helpful as he could answer any question regarding the menu or food. The specials, grouper with shrimp (they brought out a yellow cocktail sauce upon request which was the best cocktail sauce I had ever tasted) along with steak medallions in a peach barbecue sauce were out of this world. The chicken parmesan, tuna, and sirloin were superb. The kids liked their food as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the myrtle beach/north myrtle beach area! P.S. The salad dressings made the salads very appetizing. I had the apple vinaigrette which was very good. Most of our party got the house dressing, the raspberry almond ranch and loved it.

Without Tripadvisor we would not have given this restaurant a second glance in our search for a good meal. Our backup plan was one of the well known chains. Fortunately we were welcomed and seated without the need to change plans. Food was the best we had all week. Wait staff was friendly and attentive. The only reason for the 4 star rating was the too loud recorded piano music and the loud, rude locals at the bar.
