So unlike most of the other reviewers, we went for a weekday lunch, arriving at noon to an empty place, but which soon filled up nicely. The house salad with homemade ranch dressing was instantly forgettable. The Garlic Lovers pizza was better, although the crust, while possessing the correct outer crispness, was under-baked in the center, making us suspect the oven's temp was a bit too high. It's all about the atmosphere, folks. No trendy tourist trap is this. We sat outside under a great canopy of old trees on a marvelously funky old patio. And yes, the walls and ceiling inside are completely covered with dollar bills. This is a local dive par excellence! Anybody who complains about service levels doesn't understand this treasure. And in truth, on our visit, the server did a good job handling the ever increasing number of tables by herself in true casual dive bar fashion. I'd go again, anytime.
