This is a 7 mile round trip hike up Table Rock Mountain in SC. There are parts that are quite strenuous, with "stair step" rocks you walk up for many parts. The trail is nice and shady. The hike has signposts every 1/2 mile and a nice shelter to stop and rest (if you need it) at the half way point. Once you get to the top of the mountain you need to follow the trail another 1/3 mile to see the actual Table Rock. It's a nice open area with great vistas.
We hiked it in March and were quite comfortable in pants and long sleeved shirts. I would suggest taking plenty of water, especially if you hike in warmer weather!
We hiked on a Friday and were surprised at how many people we saw as we hiked, especially as the day progressed. This seems to be a very popular trail.
The park itself is very nice. It costs $2 per person to enter the park. There is a store/ restrooms at the trailhead. It was closed when we visited, but the restrooms were open. The restrooms were clean and more than a portapotty.
We passed several cabins as we entered the park. There was a nice picnic/play area as well.
