This was the last park for us to visit before heading back to Florida. The staff were very helpful in suggesting trails that met our needs especially with my bum ankle. Interestingly what SC rates as an easy trail does not match FL expectations of easy. :-) Nonetheless the trail was nicely maibtained, well marked and free of trash.

This is a 7 mile round trip hike up Table Rock Mountain in SC. There are parts that are quite strenuous, with "stair step" rocks you walk up for many parts. The trail is nice and shady. The hike has signposts every 1/2 mile and a nice shelter to stop and rest (if you need it) at the half way point. Once you get to the top of the mountain you need to follow the trail another 1/3 mile to see the actual Table Rock. It's a nice open area with great vistas.
We hiked it in March and were quite comfortable in pants and long sleeved shirts. I would suggest taking plenty of water, especially if you hike in warmer weather!
We hiked on a Friday and were surprised at how many people we saw as we hiked, especially as the day progressed. This seems to be a very popular trail.
The park itself is very nice. It costs $2 per person to enter the park. There is a store/ restrooms at the trailhead. It was closed when we visited, but the restrooms were open. The restrooms were clean and more than a portapotty.
We passed several cabins as we entered the park. There was a nice picnic/play area as well.

Trails were challenging. I would have liked to see more scenery, such as wildlife, streams , waterfalls, etc.

Rented one of the cabins for a winter weekend getaway. Cabins were clean, cozy, and well maintained. Had previously spent the day enjoying the swimming area and the nearby waterfalls and enjoyed them as well. Obviously make sure you bring what you need because it's not a close trip to a store. As with all of the SC State Parks I have been to the staff is extremely friendly.

Table Rock is a very special place! It is very beautiful all the year. It was once a holy site of the Cherokee native Americans, now it is a state park. It has wonderful hiking trails for all level of hikers. It has waterfalls and the most beautiful mountains. Also I have stayed in the cabins with my wife for romantic weekends! It is a wonderful place to visit. I will always have special memories of Table Rock.
