“Stay away from here!!!”
Reviewed 24 May 2014 via mobile

We stopped here while visiting the area
First we stood at a sign stated "wait to be seated" for 15 minutes while employees walked by and looked at us. Then waited for 10 minute's to order then another 35,minute's to get our food which was not fit to eat. Horrible experience.

“Won't go back”
Reviewed 16 March 2014

We went by there for a quick lunch on the way to the mountains. Well so much for the quick lunch. From the time we arrived until we received our food it was over 50 minutes. It wasn't crowded either. All we ordered was a BLT & a turkey hoagie. How long does it take to make a couple of sandwiches. 50 minutes was ridiculous. If the food had been fantastic it would helped, but it was just mediocre. The sandwiches weren't too bad but the home made potato chips were terrible. Basically they were flavorless & real greasy. When I checked out I mentioned it to the lady at the cash register & her excuse was everything was prepared fresh. All we had was sandwiches, the only thing to cook was the bacon for the BLT. She said, in an a real insincere manner "well all I can say is I'm sorry." We definitely will not be back. I personally think the only reason they stay in business is there's no competition.

“Great old fashon country fish fry”
Reviewed 15 March 2014

While spending the winter in SC, we decided to try Aunt Sues Friday night Seafood buffet. To my delight, is was not your usual seafood buffet, but more like a country fish fry, offering a great little salad bar, and a nice variety of choices, of fish, ham veggies and shrimp some batter dipped some pan fried. The buffet also included grits, french fries, green beans and cold
shrimp.....There was plenty of food, everything was hot, or cold, as the case may be, and you just can't beat their great friendly service. I would not only go back for the Friday fish fry again, but plan to go back for the Sunday "country buffet!

“Dining at Aunt Sues”
Reviewed 4 March 2014

This is one of the only places to eat in the park area. The buffet looked terrible, food appeared to be sitting under the heat lamps until it dried out. We ordered a burger and a chicken sandwich which took 45 minutes to receive and they were not busy. They did a great sales in ice cream, but you can't survive off of that. I really hope they pay attention to their reviews so they can succeed.

“Giving up”
Reviewed 1 March 2014 via mobile

Although the prices are reasonable for the location, the service is slow and you would think with as long as it took to prepare the food it would be good, but it was not. I know it has changed owners a couple of times over the last few years but apparently no one has thought to change cooks.
