If you are going to the South Carolina Mountain Lakes Region, or a Clemson sporting event, or Hot Air Balloons in Anderson, or just driving through the area, you really should consider staying at Sunrise Farm B&B. The home is a wonderful victorian farm house, filled with braid rugs, bead-board paneling, lots of puffy quilts on the iron frame beds, and the aroma of freshly made chocolate chip cookies, which have been baked just for you! Julie, Jeff and daughter Madison welcome you as if you are part of their family and you do become family by the time you depart. It's wonderful for children with the 2 minature horses, 2 llamas, 2 sheep, 3 goats, 4 cats, and darling buddy the little dog! So, for a soul renewing experience, spend a day or two at the "farm."

We stopped at this Bed and Breakfast on our way home from Florida. What a find! The Pierce's were so warm and inviting. It felt like we'd known them all along. Their home is so bright and spacious. The farm animals were an added benefit since I was traveling with my three children. I am a sucker for freshly prepared home cooked meals and the breakfast was just that. Quite delicious and unprocessed. The icing on the cake was it's location near several of the beautiful lakes in that area. I highly recommend this B & B to anyone looking for relaxation, a good escape, and/or traveling with children.

Julie, Jeff and Meredith have always provided such a welcoming experience at their Bed and Breakfast. It is indeed a cozy home away from home that we plan to continue visiting in the future and hosting our church retreats. We highly recommend them, you will not be disappointed!

Room Tip: All rooms are wonderful, but the Corn Crib Cottage has been our favorite!

We loved spending Christmas in the Rose Cottage, where we enjoyed fixing Christmas dinner in a full kitchen, enjoying the Christmas tree and other holiday decorations, and the absolutely beautiful location. The Pierces welcome their guests like family and take great care of every detail. A favorite place to stay.
