Capone’s Brick house Grill

The Place
Capone's Brickhouse Grill is located at 113 Ram Cat Alley, Seneca, SC.
The atmosphere is inviting with seating tables and a few elevated tables for dining. The bar is well stocked and you can always sit there and eat as well. It is a very nice venue with a nostalgic feel.

The Menu/Food
Then menu is somewhat limited when it comes to healthy choices. There are plenty of salad but if you are coming for lunch burgers rule the day. The appetizers are ok but I found nothing over the top on my last two visits. I've had the Fried green tomatoes and Cadillac Cheese fries. For lunch the Squealer and the Squeaky Burger were both good but not noteworthy.

The Experience/Service/Value
Our service has been very good on all of our visits. The value has been fair and I find them reasonably priced. They do a good job with Jazz on the Alley service as well. They are learning and slowly improving worth a visit.

Capones is a Great little restaurant on Ram Cat Alley. That in itself lends to a captivating atmosphere but Capones takes that to the next level with Good Food and reasonably priced dishes.
We usually go on a Saturday late afternoon but accidentally wound up there on a Thursday night, right in the middle of "music on the Alley". We got right in but service suffered do to the number of customers being served outside.
Another slight negative was a Saturday we went and they were hosting a wedding party upstairs, again service was very slow, I mention this only to inform. They staff was extremely apologetic and brought a snack plate of cheese and meats for us while we waited, and even tried to give all free deserts (which we declined).
Overall we give Capones an A+ and feel when they get their slight staffing concerns corrected they will be a great success.

We had reservations for a group after a local high school graduation. They accommodated us by seating us in a separate room upstairs which was great. I'm afraid the pros ended there. It appears the kitchen as well as our waitress were totally overwhelmed. Drinks came fairly quickly, but food orders were not taken until we had been there well over an hour. Another hour passed before the first food came up. The last plates came up after the first tables had finished their meal, enjoyed the graduation cake and were ready to leave. The food might have been tasty, but every plate that came up was cold. The last plates to the table were kids' spaghetti for a 1 year old and 4 year old and they were served almost 3 hours after we had been seated. This was our first visit here and I'm afraid it will be our last. I wish them well, but as some of the other reviews were much like this one, we will look elsewhere the next time we dine out.

The steaks here are cooked to perfection. Excellent attention to detail and great taste. The special drinks are delicious as well. A nice gem for a small town.
