This place was originally opened as a seafood restaurant. Food was pretty good, but the management did not know how to operate a food establishment, and they closed fairly quickly. Since then there have been numerous attempts to revitalize the place as a restaurant and a bar with food, but to no avail. The type of clientele that frequented the place became fairly lower class and gang-related, and the police calls to the place became quite frequent. It is located on a highly traveled road, and could make it if someone with experience would take over. The quality of the food varied day to day when it was open, and the turnover of the bar staff did not help to keep regular customers coming in. They are advertising with outdoor signs that a "family" restaurant is coming. We'll give it a chance, once more, and see it they can be successful. Big, open space with lots of outside seating, and a really big bar. They need to keep track of the type of customer base they want to deal with. The former choices have been poor.
