Stayed 3 nights here in early February. Very nice hotel, with a great location. Right in the middle of main street, within walking distance to everything.
Check inn was quick & friendly. Nothing over the top, but above average service. Rooms were your average HIE. Our room was very clean and up to date with a flat screen, and a nice bathroom. They were doing construction while we were there. Looked like they were updating other rooms, and replacing carpet in the hall ways. I know I read a previous review stating the carpet was in rough shape, so they are getting that fixed up. We didn't use the pool. Breakfast in the morning was good. The pancake machine was broke down, but no big deal, that happens. Good selection of fruit, bagels, cereal, waffles, & muffins.
Overall a good stay, with above average value. Price was a little more than most Deadwood hotels, but it was worth it to us.More
