From the moment I arrived at the Deadwood Mountain Grand, I knew this would be a great stay. We were promptly greeted by Jerry, a helpful employee with a warm personality. He helped load our bags and escorted us to the hotel check in area while giving us a little history lesson and tour of the property. We were greeted by several employees we passed and the front desk employees were just as friendly and prompt. Our room was a standard double room and I found it to be clean and inviting. There was a large flat screen tv, small coffeemaker (disappointingly, the coffee had not been restocked in our room) and spa robes in our room. The bathroom had a large vanity area and tiled shower, but no tub. The hotel is well kept and very well decorated. This was a great stay for the price. Also, there is no complimentary breakfast but prices for room service and regular menu items from the restaurant in the casino area are reasonable. I would definitely choose the Deadwood Mountain Grand for our next stay.
