We stayed here for 2 weeks and loved every minute of it. Centrally located to all attractions and sites in the beautiful Black Hills Nat'l Forest, such as Mt Rushmore, Custer State Park, and the Badlands. The cabin was spacious for the 2 of us and very comfortable. A nice deck to view the wildlife every morning and at dusk. You will find all the amenities of home in the cabin. The owners were very welcoming and provided great service, including recommendations to some wonderful restaurants in the area. For those not wanting to cook, there was a Dairy Twist (fast food and beverages) on the premises. We will highly recommend this to all our friends and hope to return someday. We love SD!

We booked a cabin here for Sturgis Bike Week. It was great to come back to our cabin at night for a good nights sleep in a comfortable bed after a hot shower. Rooms were large, having Laundry in the cabin was amazing. Air conditioning was nice too.

The location was very centralized and everything was easy to get.

Because we were doing our own laundry, throwing the towels in was not a big deal. We came with friends for Bike week, but I am seriously considering bringing the kids next summer and enjoying the family atmosphere with them.

The icecream and burgers were very good too!

Highly recommended

Room Tip: We had Cabin #5 tucked back a little from the highway. Very peaceful.

The cabins are actually park model campers, in very nice condition. The resort is located on a very busy highway with the cabins about 200 yards off the highway. It is loud enough to halt a conversation until traffic passes while eating outside. Although there are games and toys for the kids, it is at an extra cost and the play area closes at 8 pm. Play structures are geared for those under age 8, or less than 80 lbs. The a/c unit is in the front living area and in very hot conditions it is difficult to cool the bedrooms located in the back. Cleaning/change of linen services are not provided at any time unless requested, you need to take your towels to the office during open hours to exchange them for clean ones, take your garbage to the dumpsters daily, and be sure to ask about grill use because if the area is under an advisory you will not be allowed to use charcoal and gas grills are not available. A little pricy per night for the customer service received.

Room Tip: No pool available

My fiance and I rented one of the cabins here for 17 nights and were thrilled by the standard of cleanliness, decor and attention to detail. The cabin was very modern with gas fire, air conditioning, full size fridge and stove, microwave and tv/dvd. Two bathrooms and two bedrooms and a very generous living area, Outside was a lovely big deck and table and chairs to eat out under the stars. We would have not hesitation going back and we certainly will.
