“Best Prime Rib I've ever had!”
Reviewed 18 October 2013

We had passed the Horse Creek Inn every day we were in the Black Hills area and it seemed like nothing special. Boy were we wrong! Since it was close to our cabin, we chose to eat there on our last night in the area. My son and I ordered Prime Rib and we both agreed that it was the best Prime Rib we'd ever eaten. My wife had a Garlic Chicken dish that she also enjoyed. Service was exceptional. For such good food, pricing was very reasonable. Highly recommended!

“Mmmmm Prime Rib”
Reviewed 12 October 2013

We were referred here for our first night in South Dakota. The special was prime rib, so of course we both ordered it. It was around eight so the restaurant was almost empty. The platter, yes platter, of prime rib was HUGE! It was cooked perfectly and so tender the knife was ornamental. Very pleased with the experience. The atmosphere was ordinary, but they sure know how to cook their steaks, and I'm a wee bit of a red meat snob!

“Only restaurant nearby”
Reviewed 1 October 2013

Nothing to write home about. Ordinary food. Wine was good. I had prime rib, their specialty. Hubby had fish and it wasn't good. Ice berg lettuce salad. In fairness, not much of the food in SD is extraordinary so this is pretty typical.

“Best place we ate in the area”
Reviewed 23 September 2013

Coming from a big city, we were amazed at the quality of the food for half the price we pay at home. You have to try the Broasted chicken and the prime rib. As good as any we have ever eaten. And the drinks were dirt cheap.

“Yummo!”
Reviewed 9 September 2013

We got there about 6:30 and it was packed. But we decided to try it anyway. We were seated right away and service was good. Food got there in a reasonable amount of time and it was really good. I haven't had prime rib like that in 30 years. The american fries were great too with lots of onions. We would go back in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, we were just visiting the area. But if you ever get in the area, it is worth a stop.
