Little did we know that a corn palace existed. This place is fabulous with thousands of ears of corn donning the exterior and interior of the building. What a tribute to the American farmer! Much history to learn at the Corn Palace and they do offer made in USA gifts in the gift shop. Thanks y’all!

Thank SD K

Located just off Intestate 90, the Corn Palace is well worth a visit. The ‘palace’ is remarkable for many reasons. Aside from the sheer enjoyment of seeing a large building sheathed in corn, the palace is a celebration of artistry, volunteerism, and community. Highly recommend stopping to enjoy the palace, the community and the ambiance of a lovely, pedestrian-friendly South Dakota city. Ample parking. Free!

RV people, you CAN make it through town! We have a 37' motor home with a tow. There is a side lot for rvs and campers. This is place is pretty corny. Babump! Full of puns! It's neat and worth the pop in to say you've done it. The kids (young adults) loved it! What else are you going to do on the way to Wall Drug and Mt Rushmore?!?!?

Every time we travel west on I 90 we always stop in Mitchell see the corn Palace. Why? I don’t know. But we do, it’s a family tradition and it’s always amazing.
