We love coming to reptile gardens for a some entertainment that is exciting and death defying!!
Plus seeing all the orchids and plants in bloom, one of our favorite things!
The crocodile show was well done and very informative, getting to pet a baby alligator was interesting also, my Grandson loved it!
The giant tortoise were interesting, you don't stand in their way, they will just keep going, no matter what, and at their size, it's us that have to move, it seems they are treated well at this facility and have a large enclosure.
We walked through the snake and insect exhibit, creepy!!
Did not go to the snake show, too scarey for me, I had seen it along time ago and it made me to anxious then, so knew I couldn't do it again.
They employ several local teachers in the area for summer break, which is nice they stick with local people to help out.
They have a lovely gift shop, although not inexpensive, I have seen higher priced "gifts" at local merchants. But they have a variety of fun items to take home with you. We bought a stuffed turtle for my grandson. Plus have a small snack bar, at least for a drink.
Take plenty of shade, on a hot day it can be uncomfortable. Sunscreen is a must!
