These cabins were a surprise. Everything looks new, feels new, smells new. Beds are very comfortable. Continental breakfast was a first for us in a cabin type rental. Staff was great and friendly. Hot tub and sauna and play area was great after a long day. Full kitchens with cook top stove for your own cooking. The nice thing is, we approached the Bad Lands from the East later in the day, and after exiting the Bad Lands the road goes right up to the entrance of these cabins!! (And, as promised at 9 pm they called asked if we were doing ok and if we wanted them to open up our cabin and leave the keys in it. That was nice.

We were so glad to find this place because other options in Wall / Badlands area were NOT appealing -- some sort of scary. The cabins looked very cute in the photos, but we were dismayed to find they were squeezed in between the "highway" to Badlands NP and Interstate 90. Well, it turned out ok, as we had a "meadow" room, not on the park road, and I-90 has MUCH less traffic here than in Chicago.
When we drove into Wall, we were REALLY relieved that we did not stay in one of the "downtown" motels.
These are separate log cabins, pretty close together, but still quiet. Decor is over the top like a western with unlimited set budget, but it was fun. I thought this was the first season because everything was so clean, and guests have not walked off with coasters, magazines, moose wall hooks, etc., but apparently they have been open 3 years already. I guess the exorbitant price (ha ha - way less than generic lodging pretty much every where else in the country) attracted a nicer clientele.
Room was very clean, with all my favorites: coffee pot, microwave, fridge. There are also picnic tables, hot tub that we did not use. Breakfast was pedestrian, but hey, we had our own fridge of fruit & yogurt, so could not complain.

Room Tip: Ask for quiet, meadow view room

Hi,
We were driving back from Rapid City and looking for a place to stay. All of the hotels in Rapid City were full and when we made our way back to Wall everything there was full too. Thankfully the Exxon man told us about these cabins that are on the other side of the overpass. They are WONDERFUL!!! Decent price and excellent service. The woman at the checkin was super friendly. The cabins are absolutely wonderful. Very clean and everything is pretty new in there. I am so happy that we had the chance to stay there. I'd much rather spend money staying in these cabins than some of the other hotels in Wall. I would totally recommend these if anyone wants to stay. It also comes with a free breakfast - which was great. She even made biscuits and gravy! Thank you for the wonderfuld stay!

There are a number of places to stay in Wall. All old and rather dumpy. This place is new, quiet, and well furnished. The cabins are roomy, and well appointed.

It's obvious the Owner's took the utmost care to perfect their cabins. Clean, comfy, and the best value. Our family stayed two nights and found the location to the Badlands and downtown Wall a perfect match. The breakfast was continential and suited us just fine. Playground for kids! Very impressive store and the Owner's were very attentive. I would recommend the Frontier Cabins.

On a "sisters only" trip, my two sisters and I stayed at the Frontier Cabins. The cabins were absolutely wonderful. The desk clerk was exceptionally friendly, courteous and knowledgeable about the area. She volunteered to let us inspect the cabins before deciding if we wanted to rent for the night. Once inside the cabin, we were sold! The cabins were extremely clean, beautifully decorated, and situated in a picturesque location near the Badlands. The cabins were extremely quiet--no outside noises from traffic or other guests. It was a great place to stay and the next time I'm in this area, I hope there is a cabin available for me to rent.

Room Tip: Ask for a cabin facing away from the main highway

My wife and I stayed in the Frontier Cabins for one night, but we would have stayed another if we could. This place is fantastic. The people are super nice, the room is wonderful and comfortable. The breakfast is standard.
