Our cabin was perfect! Very clean comfortable and smelled of new wood. The rustic look is throughout with nice detail. We liked the high ceilings which make the rooms seem even bigger. We had a great quiet nights sleep. Our cabin faced the setting sun so it was nice to sit outside (bring your mosquito spray) and relax as the sun set. Wall is not very big so just a quick one mile drive and your their with a handful of restaurants to eat in. Don't miss the cool Wall Drug. I would definitely stay her again.

Room Tip: Close to Wall Drug and Badlands National Park.

Our cabin was very clean, well appointed, and well maintained. I loved the decor. It's not very often that I've found a hotel or resort that puts such wonderful detail into their rooms. The furniture (beds, chairs, tables) were all made of logs. It was rustic and very appropriate for a western cabin. It really made you feel warm and comfortable. You could also rent a Tee Pee for the night if you don't mind sleeping on a cot. The stay included hot breakfast (eggs, sausage biscuits and gravy), cereal, yogurt, donuts, muffins, cinnamon rolls. And the coffee was very good. The breakfast is served in their main store at the entrance. This was not like any camp store I've seen. It was a large building filled half with souvenirs and the other half fireworks. Frontier Cabins is just south of I-90 on 240. It was a great place to stay as you're passing through South Dakota.

We stayed in the Frontier Cabins prior to heading into the Badlands. Although we were a little concerned that the location was a very short drive from Wall Drug, that actually turned out to be a good thing. The cabin we stayed in was so well appointed, clean, and cozy!! Our cabin faced the road, and if we have the opportunity to stay there again, we will book in advance and ask for a cabin facing the field rather than the highway. There was very little highway noise at night, and the amenities at this motel (hot tub and sauna, BBQ's, fridge, free bag of ice in the morning.... more than made up for the very slight amount of noise we heard at night. I believe they had a free breakfast in the morning, but we elected to go into Wall Drug for breakfast.

Room Tip: Ask for a cabin facing the field and not the highway....although the ones on the highway are still amazing.

We stayed one night in cabin 28. It was a kitchenette cabin. Very roomy for our family of 4. The place was clean & well kept inside & out. Beds are very comfortable. We didn't take advantage of the breakfast so I can't comment on that but was very impressed with everything else. We absolutely loved this place!

Our family of 6 stayed in one of these holiday cabins last week and we were so impressed with the great value, comfort, and all of the attention to detail in the cabins! As mentioned by others, it is a super location next to I95, a couple of miles from Badlands NP and the famous Wall Drug Store. What sets Frontier Cabins apart is that their little cabins are so lovingly decorated with surprising attention to detail throughout to give them the complete 'cabin experience' (wildlife art, sculptured light-fixtures, horns mounted on the wall, outdoor themed curtains, bedspreads, and even shower curtains). The owner of this motel really cares and it shows!
