“Local Fare”
Reviewed 26 March 2014 credit card Amex Cardmember Review

Bricks is our "go to" for great local fare is a quaint setting. There are three locations, and we visit the one in Brentwood most often. The service is always good and the food is fresh and made to order. Even if you want to change an item, it is not a problem at Bricks.

“Great food, friendly atmosphere”
Reviewed 12 March 2014

We eat lunch at Bricks in Brentwood quite often. Their food is always delicious and they have so many great choices. The staff is always very friendly, especially Miss Beverly. We have also eaten at the Bricks in Fieldstone Farms and on Nolensville Road. The quality of the food carries through out all their restaurants.

“A nice place with good prices and an excellent dessert”
Reviewed 22 January 2014

I stopped in to this place for dinner and enjoyed the fish tacos. The talapia was nicely seasoned and was perfectly cook - a good dish. The best part of the meal, though, was the dessert. I'm not typically a fan of bread pudding, but the bread pudding bites were really delicious.

“Casual dining, easy location, always a place to park”
Reviewed 10 December 2013

I went to meet a friend during a wintery, rainy night…it was easy to park, I could stop into TJMaxx and SteinMart right before dinner, went to Kroger's after dinner….convenience is what this place is all about. The food was okay - I felt a little rushed and the staff wasn't all that great. They didn't know much about the local neighborhood, didn't have much of a personality….BUT…..it's a good place to go, meet a friend for a casual dinner, share a glass of wine and eat basic, bone-sticking comfort food. It's nothing more than that.

“Menu Change for the Better!”
Reviewed 4 December 2013

This Brick's has always been pretty good but their old menu was so huge, that there were weaknesses in being able to do EVERYTHING right. The new menu has many of the old favorites and some new and I must say it has been consistently good quality, quantity, price and service. It leans towards pub style food and given that, I think that the dining space could afford to lose a little real estate and allow some more bar seating to be installed. The current bar area is small but has the local energy that the restaurant would do well offering more of, even if you are not there to drink. We prefer to dine in the bar (and I am a non drinker) because the main dining area is a bit....lack luster? It's just a plain old dining room area (very featureless) with dark lights. That's my only suggestion for this restaurant and it may or may not be the image they want to portray.....just my two cents :) If you don't care about ambiance.....the food is solid...and it can be formal or informal. Whatever you want!
