we want everyone to experience iron mountain inn. vicki the owner was the perfect host and her breakfasts were amazing and very delicious. she is very knowledgable about the area and gave us some great suggestions while we were there. we also enjoyed her conversations and hospitality
during our visit. vicki designed and built this b and b, and she should be complimented on the attention to detail, and the way the inn shows off the great mountain top views. it is truly something everyone needs to experience.the rooms were designed beautifully with your confort and relaxation in mine. the are trails next to the inn if you like to hike, and a very beautiful lake nearby for enjoying the outdoors.
we want to thank vicki very much for the time we spent together, and look forward to coming to her inn again.
if you want a perfect get away, by all means go to iron mountain inn
you will not be disappointed, you will leave with one of the most important memories of your life, and want to return to experience it again.

This was the by far the best B&B we ever stayed at and my husband and I have stayed at many; excellent over the top service & Vikki is the best!!!! Hope to go back there this year. We went on our anniversary the July right before my husband deployed to Cuba with the Army for a year back in July 2003!!! Such a great time!!!! We stayed in the Green room and the views from the balcony were breathtaking and watching the clouds lift in the mountains in the mornings was beautiful. We even got to experience a thunderstorm and even that was exciting to watch up in the mountains. Vikki went above & beyond spoiling us!! She even took us to a square dance and country bbq in town. We had so much fun!!! We wish we lived a bit closer so we could go back more to visit. I love Tennessee and this B&B is the BEST~!!!! Love ya Vikki; never will forget you and hope to see you again soon. **The click down box asks when we traveled but only would let us go back to Nov 2011 and we traveled in July 2003

Room Tip: All the rooms are really nice but we choose the Green Room because of the tree mural on the wall (love it) and the balcony so we could sit out and have fresh air.

This was a perfect getaway from everyday stresses of life. The views of the mountains were breathtaking. The breakfasts were delicious. Vikki was an excellent host and so informative of places to eat, where to go, etc. Do try the Thai place, Monsoon, I heard excellent reviews and was upset I wasn't able to try it, but other guests raved about it. The beds were comfy and each room had its own private bathroom. This B & B won't disappoint. Go now!

Room Tip: Green room !

My wife and I ventured into the Tennessee Mountains without knowing anything of where we were going or what we were going to do. We stumbled upon this Bed and Breakfast. The scenery was breathtaking and property terrific; we walked each day on it's own wildlife packed trail, and the inclines helped to burn off the delicious multi-course sit down breakfasts. Vicky was tremendous and guided us into filling the days with the local goings on; biking down the Virginia Creeper Trail, and an authentic Sports Clubs' picnic which was straight out of a movie. We even grilled out in the evenings with other guests. Vicky gave us the run of the house and the friendly environment between all of the guests made for excellent company when we wanted it. We stayed in the larger Equestrian room and particularly enjoyed the Steam shower (we want one in our house now). All in all, it was an experience unlike any other for us and we will be back to do more of the same and try out new outdoor activities (closeby Lake Watauga looks fantastic for some tubing!)

Room Tip: All of the rooms have their own character.

Vicki is a delightful hostess. The inn is beautiful. OUr room had both the whirlpool and steamer shower. We enjoyed the many flowers and beautiful grounds. Vicki provides both an excellent breakfast and many delicious treats. She also gave a mostly full wine bottle to have with our dinner at a very nice restaurant in Mountain City. We would highly reccomend a vist to the Iron Mountain Inn. We feel we made a new friend.

Room Tip: All rooms are upstairs and have whirlpool tubs. Two rooms alos have steam showers. Three rooms have a small porch.
