Owner description: Perched on the bluffs overlooking the Tennessee River, Bluff View Art District is widely known as Chattanooga's premier spot for quality dining and culinary delights made on site throughout the District's many kitchens, bakery and coffee roaster. Its location provides for a breathtaking destination in the heart of the city where locals and travelers alike may view equally stunning works of art, horticulture and architecture, all of which define the District's unique atmosphere.

Make sure you eat at BACK INN CAFE and drink some coffee on the porch at Rembrandts! Back Inn Café is great, but make sure you make a reservation. Bluff View Bakery has great bread!

The art district offers a variety of things to see. The items in the shops are relatively expensive and the the entrance fee to the glass museum is very high. Parking can be a problem. The restaurants are worth a try, though. This area definitely targets tourists to Chattanooga rather than the city's residents.

Ideal when you want to escape the everyday stereotype. Bluff View is a very nice artistic part of town. You can stroll around, feast your eyes on distinctive art pieces and when you feel like it, you can get a cup of coffee and delicious piece of cake in the nearby Rembrandt's Coffee House.

Went to Bluff View as a little side distraction during our trip to Chattanooga. There were many nice statues and pieces of art, my daughter had fun emulating he angel statues. It's good for a 30 stroll not good for very young children.
