“Beautiful views and homes”

The incline trip was a bit expensive. Not much at the top. Fort is nice. If you get a chance walk around the homes are absolutely beautiful.

The views are great, but that's about it. The train ride was okay, but boring. I wish more information about everything was given.

“What a ride!”
Reviewed 13 July 2014

This is a wonderful ride and I'd go on it again. We parked at the top (arrived here after Rock City) and took the ride down....what a view from the top. We had a bit of a wait at the top, but it was worth it. The ride down was amazing and the commentary was interesting. At the bottom there were a few places to eat and went to the Burrito place, which was very good value. The ride back up to the top was equally amazing and had no wait at the bottom. The best views are at the front but you have opportunities to view through the glass ceiling. Thanks for making my visit to Chattanooga so memorable.

“Neat Family Experience”
Reviewed 12 July 2014 via mobile

The 71% grade up the mountain is pretty intense. Beautiful views from the top. We just wish there was more to do when reach the top. We took a quite stroll through the neighborhood & returned to the bottom. We recommend sitting in the front of the incline on the way down.

“Fabulous views,”
Reviewed 12 July 2014

Probably one of the steepest railways in the world, well worth a visit.Going up backwards and there is history talk on route, and observatory towers at the top, when you get down, walk across the road to the icecream/pizza parlour, they have every flavour you can think of, my favourite chocolate and peanut butter, MMMMM
