“A new facility, and a really nice view from inside pool area.”
Reviewed 9 January 2012

A beautiful 2 room set up for the 5 of us on the day after Christmas, with a large bathroom and an easy check in at dinner time, super comfy beds, and a beautiful pool area with glass on 3 sides with a great view. Breakfast was abundant with a broad selection and set in a distinctly separate area with a fireplace. There were lots of eaters, and things were kept stocked. The exercise area lacked a bicycle, but did have a water cooler.

its a great location for being able to go downtown aquarium and lookout mountain. we traveled with two children 9-13 main reason for staying was the heated pool....( should say oversize bath tub) We visited in January and the heated pool was the main reason for staying. The hotel is outstanding looking while walking in and is very clean and modern. They also offer a military discount which is a big thing for me. The breakfest was very nice aswell. our shower head was broken in our first room. which is a easy over sight. the pool wasnt heated. I have mixed feelings about this hotel. If they would have offered some discount it would have been nice. the noise in the morning makes were you can not sleep in. the people above us were practicing hand stands or something till 2 am. the computers were very nice and cell service in the area is 4g so it makes it easier to find locations and places to go.

Room Tip: get a room on the top floor and in the back of the hotel

We were looking for a half-way stop on our way back from Florida and read the reviews of this hotel on Tripadvisor. We decided to stay over and spend an hour looking at the view and looking through the visitor's Center at Lookout Mountain (only 10 minutes away). The hotel was great: it is nice and new, clean, had great service, and they honored our request to have an upper floor room so we could have a view of the mountains. The beds were very comfortable (felt like Memory Foam) and the breakfast had a variety of hot and cold items (also whole wheat toast, bagels and fruit). We will definitely come back on our next trip to Florida.

Room Tip: Ask for a view of the Mountains.

The room was sparkling clean, everything looked brand new. The beds were comfortable, the room was nicely sized, and the bathroom was large and clean. The staff was friendly and kept the breakfast bar well stocked despite large holiday crowds.

The hotel sits back off the road and has limited access. I felt this added to the security because people weren't walking through the parking lot, reducing the chances of a car break in.

Its very convenient to the highway and there are a few restaurants within a few minutes.

The price was very reasonable considering the holiday season and the quality of the hotel. I wouldn't even consider staying somewhere else if we stay in Chattanooga again.

We stayed here a few months back and were so impressed we decided to stay again.....very good decision. The indoor pool is perfect this time of year. Staff always seem to go above and beyond. I would recommend it to anyone traveling to Chattanooga.

Driving with three kids on the way down to Disney; decided that this area would be a good place to stop. Hotel was booked almost to capacity, but they were able to get us a room. Went up and found it was already occupied. Went back down and the clerk gave us a king suite at a discounted rate. There were many families with kids who seemed to be enjoying the pool until around 11 pm, so if your kids need to expend some energy after a 10 hour car ride, that can be a plus. Breakfast was crowded, usual cold items, yogurt, bagels, bread for toast and two types of cereal. Hot items were biscuits, bacon, and DIY waffles. Apparently there were eggs, but we missed out and they were not being replenished. Juice, coffee, white and chocolate milk, bottled waters. Can't comment on shopping or sightseeing. There is a gas station and Wal-mart just down the hill.

First off, it's a Fairfield Inn, so it must be judged according to the level of hotel it is. That being said, this was a top notch Fairfield Inn. Rooms were clean, stylish and decent size. The seating area in the suites is well worth the extra money. We put six of us in the room and it slept everyone fine, one in a pack n' play mind you. Breakfast is just the run of the mill type, but fine for what it is. A cup of coffee, some oatmeal and fruit cup was all I could tolerate, but I consider us picky. Kids loved it of course, they know no better. ;-) Pool was decent size and seemed like a saline pool, mixed with some chlorine. Strange, but nice as you weren't overwhelmed with chlorine smell while in the pool room. Lobby is well appointed, staff were friendly, location is pretty good. All-in-all, highly recommended.

Room Tip: Go with the suites, we didn't notice any noice, outside or in. But your mileage may vary.
