Convenient, parking is close by and although open, it's all on the same level. Hotel services and systems worked well. Good soundproofing and good water pressure. Business center convenient and seems to be available most of the time. Internet was consistent and had a good signal.

Thanks so much for taking the time to review us on Tripadvisor! It sounds like you enjoyed all we have to offer and made great use of our wonderful amenities. I'm glad you found the parking convenient and the water pressure to your liking. (Nothing like a nice, strong shower to start the day!) See you next time you are in Chattanooga!

I had reserved a romance package (bottle of bubbly and nibbling food waiting in your room and breakfast) for one night for my wife and I on a Saturday. We tried to check in in the early afternoon, but no rooms were available. Later, the room was available, and the front desk person mentioned that we had a balcony, which I thought was great. We took the elevator to the room. The room was quite nice, but there was no balcony. We really wanted the balcony, and went back downstairs to ask about the advertised balcony. The front desk manager explained that there had been a misunderstanding, and that the adjacent room had a balcony, but not our room. I explained that the balcony really made a major difference to us, since my wife smokes. There were no balcony rooms available, so that was that. We went down to the swimming pool area to use the hot tub, but it was out of order. The pool itself was pretty brisk to cold, so that didn't work out well. After returning to our room, our champagne still hadn't arrived. At that point, I went back to the front desk to complain, and asked about having our parking charges removed from our bill as this was the third thing to go wrong. The front desk manager was very apologetic, and offered to literally buy us dinner if we returned with a receipt. I said thanks, but that was a bit much under the circumstances. While I felt the offer was excessive, it was greatly appreciated. The hotel did end up giving us a nice credit, which again they didn't have to do. I wish things had gone smoother, but the front desk personnel were top notch. Will I visit again? Probably, especially if it's low season.

Hello and thanks so much for taking the time to share your experience on Tripadvisor! Your candid and honest feedback helps us to improve our service as well as our guest experience. I'm so sorry to hear that so many things went wrong with your stay but I am happy to hear that you felt the front desk team made it right. We are very passionate about exceeding expectations every time and it sounds like we fell short this go round. Please contact me (Christina - AGM) the next time you plan to be in Chattanooga. I would love the opportunity to offer you the stay you should have received during your first visit.

We have stayed here 3 different times and have always had great service. The bar has great bartenders but they close early 10 PM unless they are busy which they will stay open later. Only downfall is they don't serve dinner. There are several good and great restaurants within walking distance.

We spent the night at this Hilton as a special night while visiting nearby Ruby Falls. The service was spectacular. Room service was really a restaurant down the street, so getting drinks sent to our room was not an option.

I thought that for $275/night, these guys could have comped parking, but they got another $8 from us for that. I think this was a cheap move on their part, but not too big of a deal.

Room Tip: The hot tub suite is expensive but awesome!

We stayed three nights at this hotel this week, and I can't say enough nice things about it. The location is perfect and the facility is beautiful and very clean and well maintained. The staff was very friendly and courteous from the front desk, to the bartender, and even the cleaning staff. There was a young man cleaning the lobby floors as we were loading up to leave. He stopped and told us he hoped we had enjoyed our stay and that we would come back again. Even mentioned that they were probably going to start evening meal service soon. Not so unusual from a front desk person, but when the cleaning staff is doing this, they are really happy at their job and/or very well chosen and trained. We will definitely be back to Chattanooga and the Hilton Garden Inn will be our first choice.

This is a beautiful, well kept hotel in the heart of downtown Chatanooga. We were able to walk all over the area to awesome attractions and restaurant with our 4 small children. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, and the rooms were nice. We would definitely stay here on future family trips to the area!

The hotel is in a great location to explore Chattanooga and the people working there were very nice.
There are some "buts" though that put a damper on the our stay. The first room we were given, on the fifth floor, looked nice but the awful moldy, musty smell was not nice. We requested another room. Our new room, on the fourth floor, had the same smell but it was a little less pronounced. Since my husband planned our trip to Chattanooga for our 30th wedding anniversary and was so excited, I said I thought the second room was fine. Later, he began to smell the odor too. I wasn't saying anything more about it either. I was actually playing it down because I didn't want him to feel bad. We kept the air conditioner thermostat at 67, that helped keep the smell down. Luckily we were out in the city most of the time.

Here's another "but": We were there two nights. The first night we were out late, came in and went to sleep shortly after. The next night we went back to the room fairly early because we were tired and thought we'd just relax and watch a movie. But the tv movie channels didn't work.

We had a great time in Chattanooga and want to spend another weekend there sometime but the next time we will stay somewhere else.
