Coolidge Park is perfect for picnics, jogs, and walks. There's plenty of space for kids to fly kites, throw frisbees, or play other sports. During the sumer months there's also a running fountain installation for kids (and even the daring adult) to run through on hot days.

The park features great views of the Tennessee River and the Walnut Street pedestrian bridge. You can even hang your hammock right under the bridge.

The park also has an antique carousel, a canoe/kayak put-in, and public art to enjoy.

It's feet from the shops on the North Shore, so it's the ideal place to get some lunch and have a picnic on the grass! One of Chattanooga's best features!

The kids love Coolidge Park. They will ride the Merry Go Round a couple of times and then change in their swim suits to play in the fountain. I don't think that they ever get tired of playing in the fountain. We always plan a stop at Coolidge Park when we visit Chattanooga.

Great fountain for kids to play. Nice and flat so it is good for walking. Beautiful view of the river.

Walk across the Walnut Street Bridge to Coolidge Park; ride the hand carved carousel (all animals carved here in Chattanooga!) and play in the huge yards, in the fountains, or just walk by the river! If you bring children, bring extra clothes and a towel!

This was a really nice and clean park. We enjoyed the water pad and indoor carrousel. Would definitely recommend!
