“Mixed feelings”
Reviewed 29 May 2014

This once a week market has many followers locally and some tourists. The times I have gone though I was not overly impressed. There did not seem to be a large number of vendors and the quantity of items were seemed limited. Had some produce, artisan breads ,some jewelry, homemade greeting cards, etc. A few concession stands. We go to other markets and see much more then I have seen here. It is only one short day, on Sunday 11 to 4pm. We are use to going to markets that run 3 days a weekend and have longer hours like 7am to 5pm.,and 250 to 1200 vendors . We live Chattanooga and feel it would not be in our best interest to attend. We do hear good things now and then but we have mixed feelings. We went for the Christmas event.

“Absolute great way to spend a Sunday”
Reviewed 18 May 2014

Love going to the Chattanooga Market! Spent a lot of time enjoying numerous vendors and marketers the day we visited. Would advise getting there early because it gets crowded fast. This is one of the best markets in the area.

“Something new every week!”
Reviewed 23 November 2013

We love the Chattanooga Market! Each week has a special theme throughout the market season (closed in winter) - some of our favorites are strawberry festival, chili cook-off, Octoberfest and holiday market. So many vendors and booths it's hard to see everything...come early and be ready to spend a few hours. Monkey donuts are delicious...we get fruit treats for our pups....TN moonshine cake and fresh produce and bread....you can't go wrong spending your Sunday here.

“Free Admission Free Parking”

Stop by the Peanut Man Rusty Nutz for delicious salted and cajun boiled peanuts or roasted peanuts. In the fall he has hot apple cider called, The Most Delicious Hot Apple Cider In The World Ever. And it is!

“Absolutely my favorite place to be on Sundays”
Reviewed 30 September 2013

The Chattanooga market is the place to be almost every Sunday (closed in winter, I believe). It is never the same, so go even if you just went last month. The selection of produce changes with the seasons, but there is always something worth picking up. The apples are in season now and the ones we got are delicious! Take cash for the vendors and they will appreciate it.
In addition to produce you will find local honey, cheese, and wonderful breads and pies. Go hungry because there is plenty to sample and local food trucks are always there, too. Each week is scheduled around a theme, also making each week unique. For example yesterday was a chili competition, and samples of each chili could be bought for $2, with larger bowls for $5.
In addition to food there are many very talented craft vendors, and again, they change often, so you will not see the same ones each week. Everything from furniture to jewelry to paintings to dog biscuits!
There is also musical entertainment each week and we have never been disappointed in that.
Parking is free (large football stadium parking lot, so plenty of spaces), and there is NO admission charge.
