Acropolis was gracious to seat party of 14 for dinner on Tuesday evening in a private corner of restaurant. Service was a little slow but that is to be expected for a party this large. Meals were served simultaneously and everyone appeared to enjoy the food. Menu is extensive with an emphasis on Greek and Italian dishes. Remodel has brightened the interior but appears to be incomplete

Atmosphere: We arrived 40 mins. before closing on a Saturday night. The dining area was about 20% capacity. As you walk in there is a desert bar with all kinds of goodies as you enter and to the right the hostess table. We were seated immediately. There is a nice low light ambience to this place. There are huge plate glass windows overlooking plants, black table cloths, wood tables/chairs, and subtle blends of soft music in the background.
Service: Our waiter was Michael. He explained the unfamiliar fare to us, describing each dish with precise information and answered every question well.
Food: We had the Calamari with salad and the Greek Antipasto with Calamari. The Calamari was very lighted breaded and done to perfection. The Antipasto was a mixture of several Greek delicacies. A couple of the items were almost too rich tasting (Grape leaf wrapped beef and rice and the egg plant lasagna), but nonetheless bursting with flavor. There was more than we could eat.
Value: This is a very affordable place to eat. For the evening menu the range was from $6-24. Most dishes fell in the 10-16$ price range. Very good value.
Overall: They offer other cultural meals as well, but when in Rome, or Greece...We understood that the owner prepares and cooks all the meals. We fully intend to visit this place again during our travels. Well done!

You can taste in the food that it did not come from a package.
Excellent food, great service , can be a little pricy, but well worth every penny.

Very good food but if u dont walk i looking like u have a million bucks they sit u in the back. Each time we spend over $50 . The 1st time we thought nothing about it but this time we were seated near the front the staff were all in a huddle and then the lady that sit us ask us to move to the back in a booth need i say behind the wall. At 1st i thought they may have been expecting a crowd n needed space but not once did anyone fillour spot. This is a shame. I watched everyone who came in and this is how they were seated. So sad discrimination. What goes up must come down.

We are very sorry we offended you. We are family owned and operated business and welcome all to dine with us. Your server reseated you on her own accord because the two guests next to you we're commenting about children in restaurants, and in attempt not having you insulted by another guest she moved you. So instead we insulted you for which we are truly sorry. She would not have seated you if it were not for these other guests. My children eat with me at the restaurant all the time. You and your family are truly welcomed here, and we would the like the opportunity again to show this. Please call us so that we can make this up to you if you come back to Chattanooga.

Poor representation of Mediterranean food -- dishes are chain restaurant, low quality, poorly seasoned and made all four of us feel badly after eating them. We won't be back.
