Went in after a nice walk along the Costal Path. Full menu was getting served at Lunch time along with a special Lunch Menu. Couldn't resist the Beef Burger. Was cooked lovely, along with the chips, nice pot side pot of relish which was lovely as well. Have been previously to the deli/coffee shop side but first time eating in the restaurant. The deli is worth a look in for the different things that they stock, along with the nice coffee.

Place looks stunning - latte was good .... But unfortunately that's the only good things I can think to mention !
Food was horrible - how can anyone get a ceasar salad wrong ? Well they did - croutons were soggy and the bacon was practically raw! And there was little Parmesan on it if any was order to tell as there was so much dressing on the plate ! My partner had the burger which was tasteless and he had to put the extra toppings he ordered on himself ! (Which were cold)
The staff (including the owner) were not interested and to be honest quite rude to us we paid our bill in full with no offer go even a partial refund or an apology ! Shame but we won't be back or recommending it to anyone

The first thing you notice when entering is the scale of the building, it really is quite roomy with ample space and good natural lighting.

The large central 'square' bar is in the middle of the building and is the focal point.
The eating areas are on the periphery sufficiently far away from the bar.

The menu was sufficient without being overpowering, food prices are reasonable with it possible to buy a bottle of wine for £14.

Our party had steak pie, chicken on skewers, pork belly and a chicken wrap. The highlight of these was undoubtedly the chicken skewers which were plentiful and tasty. The rest was fairly average and on a negative point the carrots(fresh) were not seasoned at all.

On a positive note the staff were plentiful and organised and helpful.

Would I go back or would I recommend it to someone. Yes on both counts, but not overwhelmingly so.

The venue looks great. I like the decor. Easy parking. Unfortunately, our meals were a big let down. Burger was very undercooked. Roast turkey dinner, there was more stuffing than meat. Not great value when the basics aren't right. Might be worth a revisit later in the year when they have had more time to sort themselves out.
