We drove an hour out of our way to stay here since this bed & breakfast was slightly off the beaten path. My husband and I loved it, and it exceeded our expectations. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Everything about the stay was perfect. Very quiet and relaxing, comfortable beds, amazing breakfast, and a wonderful hostess. We will definitely recommend this bed and breakfast to any friends and family who happen to be traveling even close to the area.

My family spent two nights at the Chestnut Inn for a weekend excusion of white water rafting. The Inn is situated a short drive from the rafting sites yet peaceful in its quiet location. The Inn itself is immaculately clean and comfortable withs lots of historic interest. Jackie is a superb breakfast cook and attentive to individual preferences. With the modest charge for a night's stay, the Chestnut Inn offers so much more than a standard motel: warmth, homey rooms, and a kind and thoughtful hostess.

We stayed for three nights after two nights of camping in by the river and it was a welcome treat. Jackie is so wonderful, sweet, caring and an excellent cook! We were in awe of the breakfasts each and every morning as well as the gorgeous and fun table settings! We were excited for what the next morning would bring. She also gave us great recommendations for horseback riding, dinner and other things to do near by. We also visited Chattanooga and went white water rafting while we were there which were a great drive. You would have never guessed there was a bed and breakfast in the area but it really is a hidden gem and the scenery is beautiful on the trip there alone!

Room Tip: We stayed in the Seasons room. Two thumbs up!

Tucked away in an uncharacteristic neighborhood is the Chestnut Inn. My husband and I stayed two nights for a weekend rafting vacation. The Inn was a welcome retreat after our long day on the rapids. It is located close to many of the rafting outposts. The Inn is quiet, relaxing, and cozy. Ms. Jackie goes above and beyond to welcome her guests and make them feel right at home. The breakfast is absolutely delightful. Not only visually stunning but delicious as well. Make sure to make the Chestnut Inn part of your trip to Ocoee. We will again one day. :)

Room Tip: Checkout their website for a good look at the rooms.

From our first phone conversation regarding our reservation, I could sense that Jackie was a warm, caring person. She did not rush me but took the time to answer in detail several questions that I had. When we arrived at the Chestnut Inn at the top of the hill, it was a very picturesque setting. Walking up the steps, the fountains created an immediate sense of tranquility. Upon entering the home, it was obvious that someone loved this place. There was soft music in the background, a wonderful welcoming fragrance, and then we met Jackie. She is a little burst of energy and happiness, filled with information that she is more than willing to share with her guests. The home is impeccably clean, which is very important to us. We have been visiting in bed and breakfast inns for at least fifteen years, and her home by far exceeds most of the inns we have visited. The landscape is beautiful; we enjoyed porch-sitting for about two hours one evening just enjoying the sounds of the evening and the many birds that visit her feeders. We could really enjoy the fireflies because it gets so dark there. Then we were off to bed. Our room was the Change of Seasons room at the top of the stairs. Every amenity was available to us. It was an effort to get out of the luxurious bed the next morning. We slept like babies. The breakfast was very professionally presented with the utmost care. We had a delicious fruit parfait and eggs benedict with coffee and juice. We were there in August for a senior softball tournament in Ooltewah,TN, but we have booked the same room for September when we will be participating in another tournament in Dalton, GA. I forgot to mention that there is a Mennonite community not very far from the Chestnut Inn. We plan on visiting the market on Saturday when we return. We would love to have stayed longer, but we had to get back to the real world.

Room Tip: The shower was very large.

My husband and I stayed at the Chestnut Inn after a day in Chattanooga for a weekend getaway. This was our first time at a bed and breakfast, and we're so thankful for a great experience. We felt welcome as soon as we entered, almost like going home to see family. Our room was gorgeous, a cozy, country feel, very clean and comfortable. And what a beautiful bathroom. And I can't forget the detail and care put into a wonderful breakfast. I would love to visit again.

My husband and I stayed overnight after a day of river rafting. Jackie let us pick our favorite room and even laundered our wet clothes. The bed was comfortable and shower felt wonderful! After discussing options for dinner, we picked a restaurant from the menus and descriptions she provided. Next morning, after a delicious meal, we were so engrossed in conversation that we forgot our clean clothes. Not to worry! A few days later, a package arrived by mail. THANKS for going the extra mile. We will be back for another dose of great hospitality!

Room Tip: Every room is lovely
