“Great Ice Cream - cool place!”
Reviewed 13 May 2014

My husband and I stopped here after dinner at Seven Senses. We spotted the sign while looking for a parking spot and had to go! We shared a custom made banana split; nutter butter / toasted coconut / pralines and cream with choc / hot fudge / caramel, nuts, whipped cream and a cherry ($7 with tax). The ice cream was great! The guy behind the counter was friendly and the crowd was friendly. After ice cream we strolled along the historic train area. This is a great place and a nice area of town.

“Historic ice cream parlor”
Reviewed 26 April 2014

If you love ice cream shops. This is by far the best located in dowtown Cookeville across the street from the train depot. We go the blueberry cheesecake ice cream and it was tasty. They also offer coffee as well. Be sure to stop by you won't be dissapointed.

“Fantastic Ice Cream Parlor!”
Reviewed 22 August 2013

We stopped in Cookeville to check out the historic district on our way back from hiking Burgess Falls in Sparta. When we saw the vintage Cream City sign on top of the building, it immediately caught our attention and knew we had to check this place out. I got a single scoop of the starwberry daiquiri sorbet, my brother got a double scoop of the toasted coconut and my son a coke float. We all loved our ice creams, not to mention the girl behind the counter was really nice and the parlor itself as a very comfortable and a clean atmosphere. Cream City is a must to check out if you are in Cookeville. We will for sure be stopping by, again the next time we roll through town!

“Yummy Ice Cream!”
Reviewed 7 August 2013

After having a pleasant dinner at Seven Senses, we walked down the block to Cream City.
Small batch ice cream at it's finest.
I tried the Toasted Coconut and Peanut Butter Cup.
Very good...
All kinds of flavors...and sherbet too.
The poor girl behind the counter did a great job, as she was by herself, and the line went back to the door. They must've thought that since it was Wednesday, it wouldn't be busy. Wrong!
We did wait in line about 20 minutes...but it was worth the wait!
When in Cookeville, TN...check Cream City out! They have awesome coffee, too!!
We both had double cones...it was $11.00 plus tip.
