“Crazy good pizza, we'll be back!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 23 March 2014

Incredible food, very very affordable. The family that runs it is really nice too.
We'll be back soon, can't wait to try their sandwiches!
Only one thing, free wifi is terrific but please consider putting the password on your menu ;)

“Perhaps the Best Pizza in Cookeville”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 6 March 2014

This is in the race (along with World Foods) for the best pizza in Cookeville. If you've not tried out D'Angelo's you really owe it to yourself to give it a shot. The pizza is different from what you traditionally find in that the pizzas forgo a tomato sauce. While I love some good marinara, tomato sauce is a very greedy flavor. Trying a sauceless (will usually have olive oil as a base) pizza really unlocks the flavor of the toppings.

This is, frankly, designer pizza. You'll see a price bump over chain restaurants but in my opinion (and I thrust you will find the same) it's worth it. As best I can tell the restaurant is family-owned and run; the interior is accommodating. Really, if you live in or around Cookeville you should make D'Angelo's a regular stop when you are looking for pizza.
