What a wonderful getaway views views views. Before I left made another reservation.
Most relaxing stay, staff was so sincere, breakfast (try the bacon) was wonderful, afternoon desserts, and views, well you just have to go.

Billy greets his guests every morning, and takes pride in all he does. Even if you are not into boating, it is a marvelous getaway. Go, if you can get in, he is booked most of the time.
A charming hotel indeed!

Room Tip: Just go! Trust me, I am an experienced Innkeeper myself.

We just returned from a two night weekend stay here that we purchased from Amazon Local. We were pleased with our stay! We stayed on the third floor, which had lovely views of the lake. The room was clean, the sheets smelled great, and the bed was very comfortable. They do think of the little things here, which I appreciated. We rented a boat one morning, which was a nice activity. We really wish they had lake access here (if you're not boating), such as a little beach area so we could swim. The breakfast was the typical buffet style breakfast, which was nothing to write home about, but good. The staff was always around making sure everyone was happy. We missed both the boat ride and dessert due to being out and about in Gatlinburg. The only thing that keeps me from rating it 5 stars is the lack of lake access (which some people could care less, I realize), and the price. Even with the Amazon local deal, I thought it was a bit pricey. We really wouldn't pay their regular price. If the price was less, we would definitely return! The lake is gorgeous and you can tell the owners truly care about their place and their guests.

Room Tip: Top rooms had very little traffic noise - and you can turn on fan to disguise

We stayed at this quaint, elegant resort on our first trip since retirement because we were unable to find a cabin near pigeon forge. It is the nicest place we have ever vacationed, hands down. The owner was exceptionally helpful and the staff were clearly on board with making us feel welcome. Sitting on the balcony and watching it rain on the lake in front of the mountains was a peaceful and spiritual moment. At breakfast we watched families load up into boats available for rental. Pristine and classy. Elegant and friendly. For less than a shabby cabin rental. Well worth every cent and close to everything and away from the bustle.
We give it an A+.

Bed and Breakfast overlooking Douglas Lake, under an hour from Knoxville. Each suite faces the lake, spectacular view of water and mountains and includes a kitchenette. Owner, Billy, greets you every morning at the included breakfast buffet. Your choice of dessert each night also included, I recommend the brownie or the cheesecake. We rented a pontoon boat thru the hotel for a few hours of cruising the lake during the day. Overall fantastic experience.

For our anniversary I wanted to do something different with my wife. Since we love Pigeon Forge I incorporated our first stay at Mountain Harbour into it. It was out of this world. The rooms and the service was great. The owner (who's name I can't remember) helped make it a great experience. He even drove the boat for the evening trip around the lake. AND THE EVENING DESERTS. The fudge with Ice Cream was out of this world.
We will go back.

We stayed here for two nights after purchasing a deal on Amazon Local. The Inn is beautiful, with scenic views of the lake and plenty of places to relax. The staff is very gracious, and the owner came around every morning at breakfast to make sure everyone was happy. The breakfast was fresh and filling. The evening's dessert was fine - we only did it one night because they serve it so early - from 6-8pm - and we usually don't eat dinner until 7:30 or 8pm. We did not do the evening pontoon cruise because it was rainy/cold both evenings. As for our room, it was very nice, well decorated, plenty of space for the two of us. They even supplied champagne flutes and silverware for our dessert.

With all of the nice things I've said, I do have a couple of suggestions/comments that kept me from giving it 5 stars. First, it was not completely clean. It wasn't dirty by any means, but you could see hair/dust in the corners of the bathroom floor. Second, the outside lighting was seriously lacking. I know they're trying to promote a romantic atmosphere, but my hub had to get out his flashlight so we could get up the steps one evening (about 9pm). This is a serious safety concern. Also, it would be nice if they could serve dessert a little later than 8pm (especially because they ask you not to come any later than 7:30). Finally, the Amazon Local deal said that there would be 3 roses and chocolate covered strawberries in our room upon arrival, but there wasn't. All in all, it's a really nice place. Kind of expensive, so we'll have to wait before we can go back, but I would definitely return.

Room Tip: To avoid walking up stairs in the rain or dark, ask for a room on one of the bottom two floors.

This Inn is very picturesque over looking the harbour. The rooms are small and quaint but beautifully furnished. Each unit has a well stocked kitchenette. The bed felt luxurious and cosy. Will be going back in a few days. Can't wait.

Room Tip: We stayed in the presidential room.
